Form of fourth to Palace Pier in sandown maiden last term boosted by talented winner since, and went on himself to score next time out in France over 1m on testing ground. Yard had a winner earlier this week.
Two novice wins at 7-7.5f last term either side of second to Berkshire Rocco who subsequently placed in Group 3 and in last week's Lingfield Derby Trial. Stable going well so no surprise to see him figure.
Impressive novice winner at Lingfield and Musselburgh last term then found Group 3 company and soft ground against him final start. Type to do well at three and makes handicap bow on feasible mark.
Stamina shouldn't be an issue having finished second over C&D in heavy ground final start in 2019. Previously landed 7f Chepstow novice stakes. Handicap debut.
Well bred and unexposed Invincible Spirit colt who won well on second and final start last term at York having shown promise on debut. Top yard has 15% strike rate with three-year-olds at this venue. Tongue-tie applied.
Off the mark on sixth and final start last season winning Kempton 1m h'cap off 74. 9lb hike looks harsh and will do well to land what looks a stronger race here.
Stable companion of Sea Voice and D Day. Hinted at ability in first two starts on turf then sprang 14/1 surprise winning Newcastle 7f novice in October. Well related and likely to progress this term so well worth a market check on first start back.
Won Lingfield 1m novice stakes in November and followed up on handicap bow at Kempton in February. Last of five at Chelmsford latest start when hampered but has to improve on this turf debut.
Yard in good form since return to racing. Won 2-7 last season including 7f conditions race in Sweden in September. First start back following wind surgery and runs off 5lb lower than last turf handicap outing.
Well bred Kingman colt representing yard in fine form at present. Off the mark on fourth start last term at Kempton 1m novice stakes then narrowly beaten on handicap bow at Wolverhampton in February. Runs off same mark and should not be far away.
Stable companion of Old News. Gelded since last start when winning Southwell 1m h'cap off 74. Up 5lb but had fiar placed from on turf last season and is by no means out of the reckoning.
Land 7f novice event here on second start last summer then well beaten in three runs after in better company. Gelded over the winter and has first run since. Has stamina to prove at this trip.
Forecasts
Society Lion (3/1), Johan (7/2), Breathalyze (5/1), King Of Arms (8/1), Count Of Amazonia (17/2), Old News (12/1), Fantasy Believer (14/1), Into Faith (16/1), Sea Voice (25/1), Transition (33/1), Bermuda Schwartz (50/1), D Day (80/1)
So many of these are unexposed and the market could prove informative. A bold show is anticipated from top weight INTO FAITH whose fourth behind the talented Palace Pier reads well with the second and third having won since. He too won subsequently in France so should go well. Johan should find this company more to his liking than pattern class at the end of last campaign, while potential improvers include Society Lion, King Of Arms, Count Of Amazonia and Breathalyze.
- Into Faith
- Johan
- Breathalyze
