Struggled in three starts last year most recently when finishing last of ten over this trip at Wolverhampton in July. Well handicapped on his old form but others look to hold stronger claims on this occasion.

Returned to form with a good ½L second in a 6f handicap at Kempton in November last year. Failed to back that up when beating just one rival home over the same trip at Wolverhampton the following month and he is probably best watched at present.

Registered a fourth career success when taking a six runner handicap over 5f here back in February. Finished held over this C&D when fourth of eight a week later however but remains of interest in this event.

Finished a well beaten sixth in a 6f handicap at Kempton in March. Hood worn for the first time that day is replaced with cheekpieces and tongue tie worn previously, including when winning off a 2lb higher mark over this C&D last September.

Six race maiden has finished held in three starts since switching to handicaps. Handicap mark is falling as a result but others make more appeal dropping in trip on his first start since December.

Making his debut for this stable when finishing 13L last of seven in a 6f handicap at Southwell in February. Sent off favourite that day and he is interesting if capable of putting that effort behind him.

Winner over this trip at Kempton in February and finished a good 4L second here subsequently. Disappointing on his only subsequent start however and has a wide draw to overcome in this race.

Finished a well beaten 14½L last of 11 in a 7f classified event here three months ago. Making his debut for this yard that day and more needed if he's to register a sixth career success.

Good second in a soft ground 6f handicap at Yarmouoth just under a year ago but form failed off subsequently and he is probably best watched on his first start since last September.

Ten race maiden was beaten 4½L when finishing ninth of 11 in a handicap over this distance at Lingfield last time out. Probably best watched racing from out of the weights.

Age: 4|  Weight: 8-2| J: A McCarthy| T: R J Price| OR:  45

15 race maiden has struggled in both starts this year including when 10½L ninth of 11 over this trip at Southwell in March. Likely much more needed if he's to take this race from out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Kath's Lustre (11/4), Amor Kethley (4/1), Good Answer (5/1), A Place To Dream (13/2), Avenue Of Stars (8/1), Maid Millie (11/1), Monarch Maid (14/1), Delagate The Lady (25/1), Our Lord (33/1), Viking Way (40/1), Grandstand (125/1)

Verdict

AMOR KETHLEY disappointed last time out but the reapplication of cheekpieces and tongue tie can see her return to form and register a second course success. The selection won off a 2lb higher mark here last autumn and she is taken to get the better of her rivals here with Avenue Of Stars capable of putting a disappointing effort stable debut back in February behind him to take second spot ahead of Kath's Lustre who was the winner of her penultimate outing.
  1. Amor Kethley
  2. Avenue Of Stars
  3. Kath's Lustre
