Has started slowly in two of his three starts; put in his best performance at Newbury in September when forcing the pace and running well in the closing stages over 7f; certainly one to note.
Ran some fair races in defeat last season including in France; best effort probably came at Goodwood in August and only weakened close home and not beaten far in conditions race at Newbury on final start; interesting.
Stayed on well over 7f to land maiden on debut at Kempton on the AW in December; best effort came in defeat at same track when runner-up giving weight away over same course and distance in January; can improve again.
Kept on improving last season culminating in an all the way win at Kempton on the AW in March; perhaps not been done any favours by the handicapper but should run his race; wide draw probably not ideal.
Gained a good deal of experience as a juvenile and rounded last year off with a win at this track at the end of November; arguably better race in defeat in March at Wolverhampton and slight step up in trip should suit.
Did not have to be at his best to land a novice event at Nottingham in August and ran much better in defeat in fair Newmarket handicap on latest start back in September; sometimes front runs so may go well from low draw here.
Put some average performances behind him when scoring well at Chelmsford after being gelded in first-time visor in September; should progress again and looks to have every chance if fit after long absence.
Came into his own on the AW last season winning at Wolverhampton before running bravely in defeat over the same extended 7f trip last time out; should run his race and holds a fair chance on the best of his form.
Had showed bits and pieces of form but put his best foot forward after being gelded and switched to the AW when winning very comfortably at Chelmsford in December on handicap debut; more on his plate here but should go well.
Defied greenness to win at Haydock in August before two very creditable performances in handicaps at Ayr and Kempton; looks to be on a fair mark and would not need to improve too much to play a leading role.
Form took a bit of a nosedive after winning well at Nottingham in October; much more needed on all known form to get close and step up in trip is a slight concern.
Had been showing good form on his first four starts as a juvenile but beaten soundly on his last two starts; something to prove though long break may have done him some good; hard to totally rule out.

The combination of being gelded and wearing a first time visor transformed the form of OSLO last season. His performance when winning at Chelmsford was impressive and if improving again (visor retained) he should run very well. Cloud Drift is nicely drawn which should suit his prominent racing style. A winner last season, he improved after that putting in his best effort in defeat at Newmarket. Mischief Star proved himself to be a tough handicapper last season and if he hits the ground running then he may be good enough for a place at the very least.
- Oslo
- Mischief Star
- Cloud Drift
