Kept on when finishing second to the well-supported Redesdale Rebel on C&D debut; produced a broadly similar effort (fifth) next time; further improvement is needed.

Took a step forward from debut when reeled in late (66-1) by Say It Simple over C&D 33 days ago; holds Bob Beach (fifth) on that basis, but others make more appeal.

Coach House filly; was slowly into stride and always in the rear (50-1) on debut at Wolverhampton (6f) a fortnight ago - finished well behind her reopposing stablemate Mukhadram Way (third); is considered unlikely.

Kept good company as a juvenile, including when runner-up in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown (5f); also contested the Albany at Royal Ascot; steps onto Tapeta for the first time off a 220-day absence; 85-rated.

47,000gns foal, €90,000 yearling; was far too green to do herself justice on debut at Pontefract (5f, good) last August (finished 7L fourth to the 2-7f Queen's Order); given plenty of time off since (205 days); market helpful.

Twice raced Mukhadram filly; sister to the Polish 7f winner Mukhadar; was beaten almost 10L when third to Dancing Feet at Wolverhampton (6f) a fortnight ago; stablemate of Along Comes Mary.

Pacy (races keenly); finished well down the field (80-1) on her second start here (7f) three weeks ago and needs to do a whole lot better on this occasion in order to avoid a similar result; look elsewhere.

11th foal from an unraced sister to the useful HK 7f-1m2f winner Passage West; closely related to the 7f-1m1f winner Five Cents; merits a cautionary market check on debut, but no more.

Verdict

A sizeable field in which many can be swiftly dismissed. Tracy Waggott's Intrinsic Bond (half-brother to the 7f AW scorer Billy Wedge) rates as the pick of the colts and geldings. Of the fillies, Brian Ellison's Grandma may step forward from debut, while the King Power Co-owned Moon Power should be monitored for signs of market confidence having been far too green to do herself justice on debut at Pontefract (5f) last October. However, the clear form standard is set by the 85-rated JM JACKSON. Mark Johnston's filly contested some strong contests as a juvenile, including the National Stakes and the Albany and really ought to go very close against these opponents.
