Made very little impression on debut over an extended mile here last month and needs a big step forward from that level if he's going to make any sort of impact this time. (His dam was unplaced when tried over this sort of trip).
A €90,000 purchase who made a favourable impression on debut at Kempton in January and then showed he's a quick learner with a comfortable win at Lingfield early last month. Certainly going the right way and a leading contender again today.
A son of Bated Breath out of a Lawman mare, he appeals on pedigree but was sold for just £2,000 at the Ascot summer sales. His trainer has an eye for a bargain and the gelding can only gain from the experience. Still best watched.
Cost €180,000 and wasn't without support on debut at Southwell last month. Showed his inexperience that day but likely he'll have more to offer. The betting can guide again.
Slow to start on debut and hung to the left as the race developed. He was eased that day so hard to assess on the bare form. He's got a likeable pedigree and is in the right hands to be given time to develop.
Cost €52,000 as a yearling and looks the pick of Richard Hannon's two intended runners. There was a lot to like about his debut run at Kempton last month and the step up to 7f might bring some improvement. One to consider.
Cost €17,000; he's a half-brother to Earl Of Sefton Stakes (Group 3) winner Steel Of Madrid and is out of a half-sister to the classy Ascot Gold Cup winner Rite Of Passage; respected on debut but looks more of a long term prospect.
Ran with a lot of promise but ultimately headed by Makram near the finish on debut at Lingfield on Valentines Day last month. More to come and his old rival has a penalty to contend with this time. Good chance of turning the form around.
Debut run was a reasonable effort when fifth of fourteen at Kempton (1m, standard) last month but didn't make much progress when held at Chelmsford three weeks later. More to do here but at least qualifies for a mark after this run.
A daughter of Passing Glance out of a 2m winning hurdler; her dam was actually placed over 6f as a youngster, though. Makes limited appeal on this occasion.
A daughter of the speedy Rock Of Gibraltar and half-sister to prolific handicapper Thornaby Nash. Needs a dramatic improvement from her poor effort on debut at Newcastle last month.

ROCK OF DIAMONDS was just overhauled by Makram at Lingfield last month but did very little wrong that day and, as he's now in receipt of 7lb from his penalised rival, he looks worth a bet to reverse the form. His yard is going well just now and he's got a lot going for him this time. In turn, Makram is going the right way and is entitled to respect. He's well worth considering if the betting market suggests he's come on since we last saw him. Lexington Storm looks the best of the rest at this stage.
