Has been in the frame last five starts but can't be said to be improving and didn't do any better for a switch to this surface last time out. This trip isn't guaranteed to suit either and, weak as this contest is, he has questions to answer.
Won over a mile at Lingfield in January and bettered that when almost making all to score at Chelmsford last time, beaten ½l. The big question will be whether she takes to this surface but she's a big player if she does.
Winner of back-to-back handicaps at Lingfield and Wolverhampton in January before finishing fourth at Chelmsford (River Song ¾l in front of him in third). Another that has to prove himself on the surface, but has chances if he does.
Not shown a lot in three starts to date but a fair chance he takes to the surface on pedigree, has been gelded since last being seen and goes handicapping on a low enough mark. New yard among the winners and he's of interest.
Winner over 7f at Newcastle in January and has continued in good form since then, although has found life harder from his higher mark. Handicapper now gives him a chance and there's a fair chance he'll take to Fibresand, so not discounted.
Has found her form in some fashion, winning here last two starts and couldn't have been more impressive here last week, clearing away for a 5l win; only 1lb higher here and in a better race, but in the form of her life and must have a great chance.
Forecasts
Light Lily (8/11), Mystic River (11/2), Rulers Kingdom (7/1), Broken Rifle (17/2), Red Jasper (10/1), River Song (16/1)
Only the six runners but with both Rulers Kingdom and River Song in attendance, this should be run at a good pace and that can only help the claims of LIGHT LILY who has won her last two and given her wide-margin win here last week, still has plenty more to offer. Mystic River could show an awful lot more for a change of surface and being gelded since he last ran.
