Verdict

He has to concede weight all-round which will prove no easy task. However, CLOG MAKER showed a good attitude when grinding it out under a front-running ride to make a winning seasonal reappearance. He can only come on from that, and with similar tactics deployed again, he should prove tough to beat. Rogue Tide is a big danger after he finished third to the selection on debut, and gets a 7lb pull in the weights this time round. The in-form Richard Hughes' pair of Karibana and Dakota Moon are also well respected. The former held smart form in defeat last season, while the latter makes his racecourse debut and it would be notable if there was support for him.
