Won at this trip when trained by Jim Bolger in 2018 but has regressed since and hard to know exactly what he is capable of at present. Did at least show a bit more when passing beaten rivals last week and now down in grade.
Building up a good profile here and made it two wins from four visits to the track when winning a 0-60 handicap with a bit in hand last week. Arrives in top form and this isn't a strong claimer.
Still a maiden but first-time cheekpieces brought about a bit of improvement when runner-up at Wolverhampton recently. Went from the front then so same tactics could see him go close in this modest contest.
Seems to have completely lost his way over the last 12 months and has beaten just a solitary rival in each of his last two starts so needs a revival to be of interest even in this weak contest.
Won a 2m seller in December but not in the same form recently over shorter and slow starts aren't helping. Capable of a bold show on best form but comes with reservations at the moment.
Last run can be ignored as hood was removed late coming out of the stalls. Had been in fair form at this trip in low grade handicaps prior to that and will appreciate this drop into claiming company.
Forecasts
Miss Elsa (10/11), Vipin (15/8), Narjes (10/1), Meagher's Flag (14/1), Doctor Jazz (16/1), Zoffany Bay (20/1)
A weak race even by claiming standards and as MISS ELSA arrives in good form that may be enough for her to bag a third win at the track. Vilpin may have a small race in him and could be the principal danger with Narjes best of the rest.
