Given the form he is in at present, another bold show is expected from the veteran Englishman after he just failed in his bid to secure an AW hat-trick last time out. Both Broughton Excels and recent C&D winner Black Isle Boy are also considered. However, this contest looks set to be fought out between recent course rivals Penarth Pier and FLY THE NEST who finished in that order over 7f here just nine days ago. There was just under a length separating the pair then, but the latter is 3lb better off this time round and can reverse the form. He has looked as though he is potentially well-treated after posting a couple of encouraging efforts in defeat.
