Showed little in three starts prior to going handicapping but has shown enough in this sphere on last two starts to suggest he can win a race or two. Stayed on at Chelmsford last time when fair fourth and has prospects off just 1lb higher.
Three unplaced efforts in 6f maidens prior to staying on well on handicap bow last time over extended 1m at Wolverhampton when close third. Up 3lb but longer trip should suit and looks a contender.
Found his level since going handicapping this year and was fair second at Chelmsford 1m2f last time. 1lb higher but is getting the hang of things and yard continues in solid form.
Took a while to get going last time on handicap bow but stayed on well enough when third over this trip at Chelmsford. Will know more now and has prospects off another place at least.
Handicap debut for Kutub gelding who hasn't shown too much so far in three runs at up to 1m. Stepping up in trip and stamina has to be taken on trust.
Only a glimmer of form in four starts in Irelandf for Jessica Harrington and was always struggling when beating only one home on debut for new handler at Wolverhampton recently. Steps up in trip but others make more appeal.
Alhebayeb gelding who doesn't look any great shakes on evidence of three starts so far, including when fourth in mile seller here in November. Handicap bow and returns after 10 weeks off so worth a quick glance for any market interest.
Three runs so far to qualify for this first handicap aouting and wasn't disgraced last time when eighth in Kempton 1m maiden, fading inside distance. Up in trip and yard among the winners in recent weeks.
Unplaced all five starts so far and was well beaten on first attempt at this trip in classified stakes at Chelmsford recently. First-time cheekpieces applied but looks to have a tough task.
Forecasts
Handsome Yank (9/4), Cool To Be A Cat (4/1), Bank Holiday (9/2), Manap (13/2), Vertice (7/1), Sir I'll Chance It (10/1), Blue Slate (16/1), Contract Kid (25/1), Egypsyan Crackajak (28/1)
A number of these are open to improvement and are relatively unexposed so the market may provide some worthwhile clues, but BANK HOLIDAY shaped well last time and this longer trip can see her get off the mark this time. Vertice is another who has prospects and was getting the hang of things at Chelmsford recently, and Manap may also have more to offer for a yard that continues to tick along nicely. Cool To Be A Cat and top weight Handsome Yank are others worth a glance.
- Bank Holiday
- Manap
- Vertice
