Fair on his day at a modest level his last win came back in August over 7f off a 3lb lower mark. Only one run at this trip since that win came here (raced wide) In September; fared poorly of late off a break over longer trips; 0-5 at 6f.

In fine form of late winning three of his last four starts all over 6f on Polytrack and Tapeta (last time). All his last three wins have come with Adam Kirby on board (rides today); will need to produce another career-best but won cosily last time.

Failed to win in a chequered career with Clive Cox (0-8); has fared little better for this yard in two starts over 6f/7f. Failed to cut much ice over 7f here last time (led); plummeting down the handicap (first run at this level); plenty to prove.

Fair sort who showed his best form for some while when returning to winning form over 7f at Chelmsford off a 3lb lower mark (has coped with higher marks in the past). Looks well treated on past form therefore but needs to cope with this 6f trip.

Probably summed by his career record of 0-13 he's proved consistent for this yard since moving from Clive Cox but hardly looks like a winner waiting to happen. Back on Polytrack after three Fibresand runs; place is the best he can hope for.

A light of former years having won off a mark of 84 in the past but now on a long losing sequence. Has run the odd creditable race in that time but reacted badly to first-time blinkers last time (removed here); needs others to falter.

The sole C&D winner in the field it's now 38 runs since his last win back in early 2016. May well have needed the run when returning from six-months off over 7f at Lingfield but all the same its hard to construct a wining argument for him.

Forecasts

Griggy (4/5), Swissal (7/2), Black Isle Boy (7/1), Hey Ho Let's Go (7/1), Fancy Flyer (16/1), Mykindofsunshine (33/1), Noble Deed (66/1)

Verdict

A weak contest to end the card and GRIGGY is expected to continue his winning run as he looks right at the top of his game and this won’t take a lot of winning despite being raised 7lb for his last win. Swissal gave a boost to the selections last win as he was back in third before he went on to win over 7f at Chelmsford, he’s now 5lb better off but he placing are expected to remain the same especially over this 6f trip. It’s hard to find many threats amongst the rest of the field with none of them showing any winning pretentions of late Hey Ho Let’s Go might appreciate the change of surface and take the minor berth.
