Appeared to know his job on his sole 2yo outing back in May over 6f at Haydock. Did best of those who raced up with the pace (finished fourth, all three in front were subsequent winners); open to improvement on his return, may need further.
Looked badly in need of his debut as a 2yo at Chelmsford (7f) making little impact (last of 14). Returned this season on Tapeta over this trip (always behind); looks to be one for the longer-term, bred to stay 1m2f plus, easily passed over.
Newcomer from a powerful yard but who are only 1-25 with 3yo novice debutants since 2015 (1-18 AW). Cost €52,000 as a yearling, dam, 5f winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 6f Rain Delayed; market vibes to tell the story on initial run.
£23,000 Breeze-Up purchase as a 2yo but never ran as a juvenile; closely related to 7f winner Devil's Angel (by Dark Angel); dam, 2-y-o 5f winner. Yard 3-36 with 3yo novice debutants since 2015 (1-20 AW), in good hands, note a market move.
Price dropped €10,000 from foal to yearling; made little impact in his two juvenile starts the second over 7f here (did no better than on his debut). Hood now applied for the first-time; looks up against it and one of the contests lesser lights.
Newcomer; one of two that the stable potentially run. Price dropped dramatically until picked up for £12,000 as a 2yo (Breeze-Up purchase). dam, 5f winner, half-sister to smart 5f/6f winner Mirza, makes some appeal on paper, could get involved.

Forecasts
Clog Maker (1/2), Lexington Storm (3/1), Rogue Tide (8/1), Lady Latte (12/1), Bursea Lady (20/1), The Fitzpiers Lion (66/1), Howizeegeezer (100/1)
Of those with experience CLOG MAKER looks by far the pick and despite a long absence the form of his Haydock debut fourth behind a subsequent Group 2 winner (Pierre Lapin) puts him well ahead of this field. The trip may be on the short side but his previous experience will stand him in good stead for his powerful stable. The newcomers provide the biggest dangers with Rogue Tide (from the family of smart sprinter Superstar Leo) looking the interesting especially if there is market support for him. Lexington Storm and Bursea Lady are the other two debutants who should be respected in what is a fairly weak contest.
