Seventh foal; dam 1m3f-1m4f/2m1f hurdle winner who is related to several winning jumpers. Further will probably suit down the line and, conceding 19lb all round on belated debut, is best watched.

4/1
Gleneagles filly; half-sister to a number of decent Flat performers including Dare To Achieve and Ooty HIll. Shaped promisingly on debut 24 days ago at Kempton (7f), finishing fourth and likely to make her presence felt given natural improvement.
Beaten 66L on only start in Ireland and was a dismal last of six, beaten 15L on GB/stable debut here last time. Others preferred.

Second foal; dam 6f-1m winner and half-sister to winners Ingleby Angel and Thornaby Nash. Family tend to improve with racing and yard don't have many who win first time out.

1/1
Daughter of Invincible Spirit who was sent off at 11/10 on recent Kempton (7f) debut. Lack of experience showed there as she missed the break but kept on nicely to take fourth, 3½L. Should come on for that and is a leading contender.

Second reported foal; dam maiden between 1m2f-1m6f; related to some useful middle-distance performers and from the family of Oaks winner User Friendly. This trip may be too short and appears stable second-string.

75,000 gns two-year-old who is related to US Grade 3 winner Qaraaba and a handful of others winners. Both starts over C&D, improving from a promising debut to finish second last time, beaten 1½L. A repeat of that form brings her right into the mix.

Second foal; dam 1m2f winner. From a yard that do have winning newcomers but will have to be fairly useful to win on debut. Worth a market check.

16/1
£35,000 yearling; half-sister to five winners between 5f and 1m. Quite speedily bred and makes her debut against some useful opposition. Others preferred unless strong in the betting.

Forecasts

Morrooj (1/1), Salsada (2/1), Alamora (4/1), True Scarlet (4/1), Party Planner (14/1), Scherzo (16/1), The Mackem Missile (16/1), Misstify (100/1), Famous Minx (100/1), Ingleby Exile (100/1)

Verdict

A competitive heat with four fillies in the line-up who have shown promising form already. True Scarlet has the best form so far with two second places whilst Salsada ran to a similar level over C&D last time. Alamora and MORROOJ both shaped well on there only starts but preference is for the latter who was well fancied but lost the race when blowing the start before keeping on in eye-catching fashion. Any improvement and breaking on terms will hopefully see her get off the mark.
  1. Morrooj
  2. True Scarlet
  3. Salsada
