1012-8OR: 141D

Formerly useful handicap chaser who has taken well to hunter chasing and was fine second in the Foxhunters at last term's Cheltenham Festival. Scored comfortably on seasonal return at Larkhill last month and looks very much the one to beat.

Won three-runner affair here over 2m5f last season. First run since May when second and unseated rider 4 out at Ludlow last week. Faces a stiff task on official figures.

Rattled off four-timer between the flags last spring. Pulled up at Cheltenham May in hot hunters event then fourth at Stratford four weeks later. Seasonal return and debut for new handler. Has plenty to find.

Formerly decent handicap chaser at up to 3m for Emma Lavelle. Regressive form last spring and made pointing bow at Ampton last month following nine-month break finishing third of 4. Will strip fitter and some improvement not out of the question.

Ex-Willie Mullins inmate who held his own in Graded company. Second in Sherriff Hutton 3m point last month only fading after the final fence. Better for that pipe-opener and had solid hunter chase form last term. Should be thereabouts.

3-14 between the flags and makes his debut here under Rules. On balance appears to have plenty to find and would be a surprise winner.

Although he has to give away weight to all his rivals, SHANTOU FLYER, second in last season's Foxhunters Chase at the Cheltenham Festival looks the class act and will be hard to beat following a win at Larkhill last month that should have put him spot on. Haymount and Full Irish both have ability and will not be pushovers, but they need to raise their respective games to lower the colours of the selection in what may prove an interesting contest. Kashmir Peak looks best of the remainder.
