Yet to hit the frame in three starts at this venue including when running over C&D in December despite running well in defeat. Worth a market check as post time approaches.
Running with plenty of credit in a number pf starts since landing a Wolverhampton 2m½f handicap in October off a 12lb lower mark. Capable of another bold effort but may find a couple stronger.
Twice-raced maiden in France well held and never a factor in a Naas 6f maiden when last seen in July. Tough ask and others preferred.
Not disgraced in a couple of starts for new connections since December. Worth a market check with the gelding sporting first-time cheekpieces.
Winner of three of his 29 starts on the Flat but the Mastercraftsman gelding is still looking for a breakthrough success at this venue in seven starts to date. Capable of improvement on recent fourth of 13 over 1m2½f here last month.
Hints of improvement on fourth starts for Co Donegal yard when finishing third of nine at Newcastle over 1m last month. No forlorn hope but others appear to have sturdier claims.
16-race maiden on the Flat with the gelding still looking to make his mark in eight starts at this venue including three starts over C&D. Liable to find a couple stronger in the finish.
Showed a modicum of ability at low level for Andrew Balding over staying trips. Others more appealing on the balance of his first couple of starts for current connections since December.
Eighty-race maiden including a number of heavy defeats at this venue. Needs sizable chunk of improvement to get competitive in a race as deep as this contest.
C&D winner previously, dwelt at the start on first start for six months when finishing eighth of 13 beaten 9L over C&D last month. Capable of improvement and should go well here.
C&D winner , successful in three of his 39 starts over the combination. Not beaten far in a couple of starts last month but racing 26lb lower than last winning mark remains a major concern.
Popular veteran well beaten on latest start here last month. Yet to hit the frame in eight starts at this venue. Difficult to see where improvement is coming from at his age.
Miserly return of one win from 23 starts. Posted a career best effort at this venue over C&D in November finishing fourth of 13 beaten 1¾L in a bunch finish. Well held when last seen in December and more needed here.
First Reserve: 98-rated handicap hurdler the Makfi gelding has been recently seen suffering a couple of heavy reversals over the larger obstacles. One from seven here over C&D, worth a check in the market if lining up.

In a contest where there appears to be a lack of pace it may be left to Sharjah to make the early running. The gallant 10-year-old has been running well in defeat in a number of starts since October and may set the race up in the closing stages for a couple of quicker closers. YAMATO has been running well in a number of starts since landing a Wolverhampton 2m½f handicap in October off a 12lb lower mark and can compete for the win with Cross Step who will not be far off the pace when the stalls open. C&D winners Miss Louise and Alcander both have decent form here in the last 12 months and should not be taken lightly.
