Kept on proficiently when finishing 2L third to Lilkian over C&D in November; far less spectacular over longer trips (6f-7f) since.

7/2
Coach House colt; ran his best race to date when finishing 1¼L second to Navajo Dawn over C&D 12 days ago; may find the less exposed fillies' stronger.

Equiano gelding; sixth foal; half-brother to two winners, finished a disappointing last of three to the very hard pushed 1-12f winner Xian Express over C&D on New Year's Day.

Kyllachy colt; half-brother to eight winners; hasn't managed to beat a single rival in two starts to date (both over 5f at Wolverhampton); is easily opposed.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-8| J: J Mitchell| T: H Palmer| OR:  72
7/2
Cost €180,000 as a 2yo; certainly hasn't gone forward from her promising debut third to Miss Lucy at Newmarket (6f, good to firm); that said, she should prove competitive against these rivals if fired out of the gates by her rider Jack Mitchell.

Showcasing filly (28,000gns yearling); half-sister to the 6f Listed winner Brevity; got the message all too late on debut at Wolverhampton (5f) on Boxing Day when a fast-finishing third to It'Smabirthday; a major player if taking to the Fibresand.

Forecasts

Ladyleys Beluga (1/1), Mews House (7/2), East Of Eden (7/2), Abbaleka (6/1), Rocketeer (40/1), The Kyllachy Touch (80/1)

Verdict

East Of Eden holds the best single piece of form (admittedly from back in July) so could be tough to peg back if fired out of the gates by her rider Jack Mitchell. However, the Karl Burke-trained LADYLEYS BELUGA was a notable eye-catcher on debut at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. She got the message far too late when a fast-finishing third to It'Smabirthday (placed in a Chelmsford novice since) and with natural progression considered probable is fancied to strike at the first attempt on Fibresand.
  1. Ladyleys Beluga
  2. East Of Eden
  3. Mews House
