Modest filly who makes her Fibresand debut having as yet shown very little in a variety of events at up to 1m. Ran her best race in first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton but the effect of that headgear appears to have diminished; hard to recommend.
1-22 on the Flat he's also building up a fair losing sequence at the moment although he has hit the first four in his last quartet of starts over C&D. That form isn't worth much although at this level it might be good enough to hit the frame again.
Offered little in her first two starts before hinting at having some ability over 5f here last time out. Sure to have more chance in handicaps or minor events such as this but not certain to be suited by this trip having only run at up to 6f so far.
Never figured on her handicap debut here last time over 1m4f and generally doesn't look as though she needs trip in excess of 1m. Could be given a chance in this on one piece of form last year but hardly the most solid proposition.
Looks to have taken a step in the right direction since being fitted with headgear and stepping onto this surface. Respectable fourth in a similar event last time over C&D he's one of the more likely types in this desperately weak contest.
Four-time C&D winner who despite not running up to his best has been well found in the market on his last three starts here. Well below form in this lowly grade last time he's the type who could bounce back to form so would have to be considered.
Well held in all here three runs so far in novice company never starting at less than 66-1. This grade gives her more chance to get involved although it will be her first taste of Fibresand; interesting to see what the market makes of her.
Produced his best run on his Fibresand debut over this trip but was subsequently disqualified for carrying the wrong weight. Did well though to "win" the race having been ridden close to a strong pace; good chance to make amends.

Forecasts
Sea of Cool (10/11), Palazzo (5/1), Sooqaan (6/1), Face Like Thunder (7/1), Dame Denali (10/1), Bescaby (16/1), Hunters Step (16/1), Caesonia (20/1), Mirabelle Plum (25/1), Jeans Maite (33/1), Song Of Summer (33/1)
Only low-grade stuff but it should allow connections of SEA OF COOL to gain some compensation for his disqualification over C&D when he was last seen. Not many of these would be capable of matching that performance where despite the fact he carried the wrong weight he did well to “win” having been up with a strong tempo all the way. Sooqaan hasn’t lived up any of his form around here of late but can’t be written off at this level. Bescaby (if she runs here) and Dame Denali are two that are worth watching in the market.
- Sea of Cool
- Sooqaan
- Dame Denali
