Not seen on the Flat since October 2018 he's been running over hurdles since then (0-9 in that sphere). Ran poorly when last seen over timber in a visor for the first time (now removed); has a bit to prove returning to the level.
Lightly-raced of late and only had two runs on the turf for this yard last year having won a maiden when with Dermot Weld. Shown little so far but this is a fair drop in class, wears the visor he wore for his maiden win; worth watching in the market.
Shown glimpses of form during his long losing sequence but isn't an easy ride having to be delivered from well off the pace. His efforts at the end of last year were fairly laboured and he's 0-9 on the AW; others have stronger claims.
Tricky customer who so far has refused to budge in his two hurdles outings for this yard. Capable of some fair form on the Flat but the mind boggles as to what he's going to make of stalls now; one to treat with extreme caution.
Yet to win a race but has indicated in his last couple of starts than he's capable of putting that right soon. Ran well enough over this C&D last time without fully convincing that he stays this trip well enough to win; place chance.
Dual C&D winner who won off a 3lb lower mark on the turf in the summer at Pontefract (1m4f, good). Found no support in the market when returning to the AW after a break last time, 1m trip proving inadequate, will be better suited by this test.
Five-time course winner although all those wins have come over further. Ran creditably over C&D last time but was left with a hopeless case from his track position; needs a stiffer test although he is back on his last winning mark.
Ran his best race last time as he resumed winning ways although he did have the run of the race and there was the odd quirk or two on display. Up 6lb for that run he's never been this high in the handicap before and a follow-up isn't certain.
Six-times a course winner he reeled off four wins here in a row over various trips in the middle of last year. His two most recent runs have been well below-par though and he's only beaten two home in his last two starts; others preferred.
C&D winner who returns from a wind op having been badly hampered when last seen at Bath in September. Slipped 1lb below her winning mark here just under a year ago and no surprise to see her run well here as she returns from a break.
Made all for a C&D victory in November reverting to the same tactics as he had used when winning at Bath earlier in the year. Given a good ride by today's pilot when he was last seen he returns with chances of repeating those same tactics.
Went to this yard on the back of a wind op and he looked as though he was amiss on his first start over hurdles for the yard. Fair maiden on the Flat when with Declan Carroll he would have to improve to get involved despite the reduced mark.

Clem A (7/2), Fares Poet (4/1), Rotherwick (5/1), The Game Is On (11/2), Star Ascending (13/2), Perfect Refuge (9/1), Champagne Rules (16/1), Manzil (28/1), Street Poet (33/1), Abel Tasman (33/1), Ghost Serge (50/1), Deebee (66/1), Metatrons Cube (125/1)
Several multiple course and C&D winners in this and for the grade it looks a competitive event. Clem A won with a bit in hand here last time but he may have had the run of that race and this rise in grade off a stiff mark may hold him back this time. Star Ascending needs no introduction around here but despite a good run over C&D last time he could do with reverting to 1m4f here before he’s of real interest. Fares Poet isn’t guaranteed to stay this trip whilst Perfect Refuge returns from a wind op and should give a good account. The Game Is On adds some strength in depth but it’s CHAMPAGNE RULES who grabs a marginal vote with this C&D expected to bring out the best him again.
