Only win in 20 attempts came over 6f at Newbury in July 2018 for Brian Meehan. 12 races without success for current yard and has tumbled down handicap. First-time cheekpieces now added and wasn't disgraced last time at Southwell.
Landed Brighton selling h'cap in early September than followed up in non-selling h'cap at Bath two weeks later. No joy off higher mark since and hasn't shone on last two outings including over C&D last time.
Won four times at this trip for David O'Meara 2017/18. Nothing since, and joined current yard in September. Looked regressive until much better effort at Lingfield recently. Eased 1lb more so has fair chance if able to back that up.
Placed in three of first four starts last season in modest company prior to striking into herself and pulled up at Ripon in July. Not seen since but is unexposed and yard is in good form so any market support would be significant.
Seven-time winner but not since defying mark of 79 at Windsor in June 2018. Crashed down the weights since and struggling prior to good second at Lingfield penultimate start. Last of 11 here over 5f last week and may not be one to rely on.
Both wins in 2019 came at this venue, one over 5f the other over 6f last month when stayed on well to win classified stakes. Raised 4lb since so more needed but appears to be in good heart at present.
Finally broke her duck at the 25th attempt when winning classified stakes over C&D three weeks ago. Could have turned over a new leaf but this is a tougher task.
Ran poorly here on each of first three starts and has only placed once from 12 outings to date. Has early pace so may take them along but surprise if good enough to see it out.
Has a number of placed efforts to her name but still yet to win after 16 attempts. Has struggled for consistency and it will do very well to get her head in front on this occasion.
Very modest sprinter who races from 1lb out of the handicap and carried blinkers for the first time. Remains a maiden after 21 attempts and headgear will have to make massive difference for him to get off the mark here.
Only win came in Lingfield 5f h'cap back in July 2018 for David Evans. Out of luck since in 13 starts for current yard and has been well beaten last few outings.
Very modest filly who has yet to even reach a place in 17 runs so far. Blinkers added now to try and spark some improvements but is impossible to fancy on second start since wind surgery.

Almurr (11/4), One One Seven (4/1), Black Isle Boy (6/1), Knockabout Queen (8/1), Jungle Secret (17/2), Isabella Ruby (10/1), Red Allure (11/1), Bernie's Boy (14/1), Our Man In Havana (14/1), Hellofagame (25/1), North Korea (40/1), Wye Bother (80/1), Tintern Spirit (80/1)
Most of these are really struggling, but after a long time in the wilderness BLACK ISLE BOY hinted he may finally have found his mark with a better effort at Lingfield last time. If he can back that up he should not be at all far away. Jungle Secret has only had five starts and was pulled up in the summer after striking into herself. She had previously shown enough to win a little race and her stable is going very nicely this winter. First-time cheekpieces may help top weight Almurr, and both One One Seven and Isabella Ruby have at least shown their form of late so have to enter the equation as well.
