Has run to a poor level and offered very little on two starts over 7f on Fibresand. Now steps down a furlong for his third try on this surface but makes very little appeal.
Now with his third different trainer for just his third start having shown some promise on his two start both over 5f the most recent here (shaped better than his finishing position). Absent since he steps up in trip for his return outing.
Seen just once as a 2yo over 1m at Chelmsford where he hinted at having some ability without being seen to the best effect. Likely to be seen to better effect with that experience behind him, although he will have to cope with a new surface.
Very much caught the eye when given a considerate ride at Newcastle last time having shown promise despite being green on his first two starts. Looks capable of better with a drop in trip expected to suit; first run on Fibresand.
Just two runs to his name so far with neither showing any undue promise the latest coming here over 7f (slow away, soon off the bridle). This isn't a strong event but he would need to show considerable promise to trouble the principals.
Ran his best race last time having shown a modicum of progress with each start. Ran a sound third at Lingfield over 7f last time when a 40-1 shot faring well against a couple of well-fancied rivals; fair chance if taking to this surface.

Forecasts
The Weed Machine (11/8), Xian Express (11/8), La Trinidad (7/2), Been Bobbied (9/2), Mabre (6/1), National Anthem (15/2), Feel The Thunder (33/1)
The 3yo are expected to hold sway in this with three of them looking as though they are capable of making an impact. THE WEED MACHINE looks the best of them as he’s improved with every start in his career and very much looks the type that this yard do well with. The performance of La Trinidad will be viewed with interest after his run at Newcastle last time caught the eye of the stewards; he also looks an improving type. Been Bobbied may still need this experience but he showed on his debut that he had ability. The market is likely to be the best guide as to the expectations of the very-lightly race 5yo National Anthem who returns from a long break having had a wind op and on stable debut.
