Off the mark at the eighth time of asking when landing a 14 runner handicap off a 4lb lower mark over C&D when last seen in November. Another bold bid expected.
Sending a number of mixed messages in six efforts on turf since April. Not seen since October and market likely to be the best indicator to his chance on AW debut.
Won for the seventh time in his career when landing a 14 runner handicap over C&D off a 5lb lower mark before a 3L defeat over a similar trip when last seen in November. Capable of a big run.
Solid efforts over the summer have been followed by a couple of pleasing efforts over 7f without worrying the main protagonists recently. Looks up against it here but step up to 1m may help.
Hinted at ability for Amy Murphy, but was soundly beaten in a big-field handicaps at the Curragh on his first couple of starts for current connections when last seen in August. Faces a tough task in this company.
11-race maiden who has proceeded to hit the frame on just one occasion. Lightly raced over the last two years and not seen since June. Isn't easy to make a case for.
Solid, consistent, tough and genuine sort who is running well in defeat in a number of starts over C&D since last month. Trainer has a 33% win and place strike rate in the first week of January at this track since 2017.
Experienced winner of three of his 46 career starts including success over C&D. Yard have two wins and three place efforts from 15 runners in the first week of January at this venue in the last three years.
Eight-race maiden well held in a couple of starts over 6f and a similar trip last month. Hasn't looked a winner in waiting and one to oppose once again.
Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success in six career starts to date. Well held and never nearer on first start here over C&D when last seen in September. Others preferred.
Boasts a record of a win and a place from five starts over C&D. Last win came over the combination off an 8lb lower mark in October 2018. Not beaten far in a couple of starts in October/November and could be a lively outsider here.
Off the mark for connections at the ninth time of asking when landing a 1m½f contest in a 11 runner Wolverhampton handicap off a 6lb lower mark when last seen in November. Market likely to prove best guide making track debut.
Solid and consistent without getting his head in front in a number of starts over C&D in the last 12 months. More likely than some to run their race.
Without a win in 17 starts including failing to hit the frame in six starts at this track. Plenty more needed in this company.

The Jessica Harrington-trained BODAK can win for the second time over C&D despite a 4lb rise in the weights for her win when last seen in November. The improving four-year-old can benefit from a nice pull into the race from Miracles In May and Tio Esteban who could make the early running. C&D winners Munfallet and the evergreen Denis Hogan-trained Red Avenger can go well in a wide open contest where regular place hitters Mulzamm, Reverberation and Suntory Times should not be quickly dismissed.
- Bodak
- Munfallet
- Reverberation
