13 race maiden was beaten 30L when seventh in a novice hurdle over an extended 2m3f here on debut for this yard recently. Worth a check in the market upped markedly in trip on return to handicaps.
Ran well when finishing 1½L third in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Market Rasen (soft) at the start of December. Raised 1lb for that effort and is one for the shortlist in this contest.
Well beaten in three starts since switched to handicaps including when beaten 35L over 2m at Warwick (good-to-soft) in November on his most recent start. Stamina to prove stepping up in distance.
Returned from a break with a nose defeat in a handicap hurdle over 2m7f at Market Rasen (soft) just under a month ago. Raised 2lb for that second place finish and looks likely to run well once more.
Decent effort in finishing 22L third in a good-to-soft ground 3m handicap hurdle at Musselburgh in November. Races off a 3lb lowr mark here and is well handicapped on his old form.
Point-to-point winner on disqualification and was returning from a break when pulling up in a 2m7f handicap hurdle on heavy going at Bangor at the end of November. Others hold stronger claims.
Well beaten seventh in a 2m novice hurdle at Kelso (soft) last time out. Worth a check in the market on handicap debut following a break.
Beaten 25L when fourth over an extended 2m7f at Hexham (good) in September but disappointed when 55L eighth at Kelso (3m2f, good-to-soft) the following month on his only subsequent start. Interesting to see how he performs.
Stays well but has pulled up on her two most recent starts including at Southwell (3m, good) when last in action back in June. Well handicapped on her old form but it's nearly two years since she registered a placed effort.

Emma Beag returned to form when finishing runner-up last time out and she can fill the same position in this contest while Samtu who is well handicapped on his old form can take third.
