Half-brother to three sprint winners, one of them on AW, and the best of whom was Listed scorer Thammin. Dam 5f-7f winner. In good hands, but not well drawn for this debut and also starts over plenty far enough.

Out of a French 1m-1m2f winner. 20-1 on debut at Chelmsford (1m, AW) recently, when running with credit to be 4L fifth. With that positive under his best, he could have a big say in this.

Showed promise on debut at Brighton in October, but wasn't quite as good when tried here last week (1m), when weakening inside final furlong. Should be better for drop back to this trip. Not ruled out.
14-1 and tried to make all on debut at Kempton (7f), weakening late to be beaten 12L. That was probably better than the bare form suggests, but he will still need to improve on it to have any chance this time.

50-1 and blew his chance at the start on debut at Kempton (6f), when he ran very green and was never involved. Can only watch this time.

Has shown promise at a minor level in both starts so far (both 1m). Drop in trip may help, but probably one to concentrate on more closely when he has goes handicapping.

Moderate debut effort at Kempton over 6f was only marginally bettered back there over this trip last time. Drawn wide here, and looks best watched for the time being.

Put a moderate debut effort behind her with a significantly better effort when 6½L sixth of 14 back at Kempton (1m) last time, when 100-1. Unlikely to go off at those odds here, especially with inside draw, and should be involved.

66-1 on debut at Kempton (1m) last month, when she ran green and was never involved in the argument. Can only watch this time.

7,500gns foal. 12,000gns yearling. Half-sister to three winners from 1m-1m6f, one of them on AW. Dam placed in 1m4f AW claimer. Looks likely to do better with experience and upped in trip.

66-1 on debut over C&D earlier in the month, when never involved and beaten 15L. Draw wide here and looks in need of more experience.

7/2
25-1 on debut at Kempton (6f), when she kept on well to be 6½L fourth of 12, in what was a promising effort. Step up in trip should suit, and she also has a handy draw. No surprise to see her go close.
Seventh foal. Half-sister to three sprinter winners, out of a 6f two-year-old winner, including in Listed company, as well as Group 3 scorer at three. In good hands, and is one to check out for market confidence on debut.

Forecasts

Buy Me Back (11/4), New Arrival (7/2), Good Time Charlie (7/2), Dashing Roger (5/1), Ajax Tavern (8/1), Arietta (8/1), Golden Fountain (8/1), Alborkan (10/1), Sepia Belle (18/1), Indigo Times (20/1), Brown Eyed Girl (25/1), Coconut Sugar (25/1), Various (33/1), Kalimotxo (66/1)

Verdict

The Amy Murphy-trained pair, newcomer Sepia Belle and the experienced Alborkan are drawn next door to each other and both are of interest here. Buy Me Back is the pick on what we have seen on the racecourse so far, but she does have a little to prove after last time and therefore the suggestion is NEW ARRIVAL. Jason Tate's filly made a pleasing debut and should be suited by this step up in trip and also has a nice draw. Dashing Roger and Arietta are not ruled out.
  1. New Arrival
  2. Alborkan
  3. Buy Me Back
