Three of his four wins this year have come on this surface, and holding form well since beating Loose Chippings over C&D in October. Not at his best at Chelmsford last time, but should bounce straight back at his favoured venue.
In the frame on his last three starts here, shaping better than the result when neck second of 12 to Grandscape over 1m3f last time, doing too much in front and caught by one who had been held up. Can defy this mark on recent evidence.
Has improved on previous form when placed the last twice over C&D in cheekpieces, travelling best of all when third of 8 to Angel Lane last time. Needs to find more when push comes to shove, but clearly capable.
Some fair efforts for Gavin Cromwell, and ran one of his better races when third of 11 to Tynecastle Park here last time. Has since joined a new stable, and market best guide to his chances now.
Third in this headgear at Wolverhampton in November, but looked awkward under pressure there, and similar story on both starts since, raising concerns about his temperament.
Not long with this yard, and back on track when third of 12 to Grandscape over 1m3f here last time, albeit helped by being held up and brought wide in a strongly run race. Needs to show he can build on that here.
Beaten a neck when second to Blyton Lass over C&D last month, but has had plenty of lesser efforts around here in recent months, and was tailed off on her latest outing.
Showed ability in qualifying runs, although failed to improve for switch to handicaps when only eighth of 13 behind Spelga at Dundalk last time. Cheekpieces now tried, and interesting that connections are happy to travel her here in search of a win.
Fourth to Cold Harbour in a C&D handicap last month, and has run respectably on his last two starts. On a basement mark, though, and therefore not getting any respite for those defeats.
Probably flattered when third in a maiden at Hamilton in June, which represents her best performance to date, and balance of her form suggests she will struggle on handicap debut.

SOCIOLOGIST was ahead of Chinese Alphabet over 1m3f here last time despite doing a bit too much in front, and he can confirm that form on marginally worse terms, with Cold Harbour and Princess Harley holding place claims on recent course form.
