Made a winning start at Leicester in October but was no match for a ready and well-backed winner last time out (still a commendable effort given that he gave weight away under a penalty.) Still has scope; shortlisted.

Cost just £800 but made a pleasing start when second of 16 at Brighton in October. The winner of that race has potential to be a decent handicapper but the form looks modest otherwise. More needed here.
8,000 gns yearling who is a half-brother to middle distance winner Charlie Kunz; his dam won a Listed race over 1m2f and is a half-sister to Dante winner Dilshaan. Yard is quiet at present and likely this gelding will be a lot sharper for a run.

Out of a half-sister to Oaks winner Eswarah, this £9,000 two-year-old is closely related to 1m2f winner Thuryaat; and is also a half-brother to a couple of winners on the AW. Yard back on the score sheet lately. One to monitor in the betting.

Made an inauspicious start in a novice stakes at Newbury in October but did show some improvement when switched to the Polytrack here last month. Another step forward required but qualifies for a handicap mark after this. Might do better next year.

€26,000 yearling who overcame greenness to finish second behind a potentially decent performer at Chelmsford in October. Will be wiser for the experience and no surprise to see the colt at the heart of the action with cheekpieces now applied.

10,000 gns yearling out of an unraced half-sister to a 1m winner in France. The colt fluffed the start on debut at Newmarket but made good ground to eventually finish a commendable second. Also ran with zest on his AW bow when last seen; a player.

Cost €26,000 as a two-year-old, the filly is the first foal of an unraced sister to German Derby winner Kamsin; the dam is also a half-sister to two Group 3 winners in Germany. Big improvement needed after a modest C&D debut earlier this month.

Cost 7,000 gns as a yearling, she's a half-sister to an extended 1m2f winner in France; her dam was Group-placed in Italy over a similar trip. Certainly worth a betting check at least.

A cheap purchase who was never a factor on debut at Wolverhampton nine days ago; hard to envisage her being good enough on the evidence of that performance.

A half-brother to 1m-1m2f winner Lawn Ranger; out of a Listed placed dam who was also effective up to 1m2f; bred to get a little further at least. Probably best just watched on debut.

9/2
A €21,000 son of Raven's Pass who showed improvement from his Newcastle debut to go close over 7f at the same course last month. Up in trip and a new surface to encounter this time. Another who is likely to have more to offer in 2020.

Forecasts

Rhubarb Bikini (1/1), Take Me To The Sky (4/1), Time Voyage (9/2), Dashing Roger (7/1), Eevilynn Drew (16/1), Strange Brew (22/1), Platinum Prince (25/1), Mickey Drippin (25/1), Made In Italy (33/1), I Hear Thunder (33/1), Forked Lightning (33/1), Rich Girl (66/1)

Verdict

RHUBARB BIKINI arguably sets the standard at present and is forwarded in the hope that he will be lot wiser now he has the benefit of a run to draw upon. The Zoffany colt was very green on debut but still ran on well to emerge as a clear second on the day. A more focused effort can see him go one better this time. Eevilynn Drew is already a previous winner but has been found a weak race in which to attempt to give weight away at this stage. He along with Take Me To The Sky, makes most appeal of those with prior experience. Mickey Drippin and Made In Italy are debutantes worth monitoring in the betting.
