Returning from a break when winning by 1¼L in a 7f handicap at Kempton recently. Remains open to improvement on just his fourth start for this yard and he is one for the shortlist under a 5lb penalty.
C&D winner last month followed up over 1m½f here on Monday. Carries a 4lb penalty for that but simply can't be ruled out in current form.
Five-time course winner (four over 7f) and not beaten far at Kempton latest when fifth of 14 over the trip. Always capable when things drop into place.
Needed to drop into a seller to win at Redcar in May but showed little on return last month after a break and may need a return to plating company to get back on the winning trail.
Return to this yard didn't see her recapture old form when she flopped at Kempton latest. That was her first run since April so can perhaps do better but others more compelling.
Busy 2019 seen her win twice in 23 starts with the most recent on the turf at Leicester. Handicap mark not impossible but others more reliable.
Maiden returns to the level after pulling up latest over hurdles. Best Flat form competitive but no guarantees what to expect here.
C&D winner won twice in quick succession over 1m at Chelmsford including very easy win there seven days ago. Upped 8lb for that success but may very well overcome it.
C&D winner is far from a regular in the winner's enclosure but his 2L third here last time was a solid effort and having gotten another 1lb back today he ought to run similarly well.
Irish raider a 16-race maiden who ran well over 1m at Dundalk penultimately. Couldn't back the effort up there next time however and overall record suggests him a somewhat inconsistent sort.

Forecasts
Steal The Scene (5/2), Calin's Lad (11/4), The King's Steed (6/1), Ubla (6/1), Roman Warrior (8/1), Rockesbury (9/1), Viola Park (10/1), Peachey Carnehan (12/1), Zayriyan (14/1), Connemera Queen (40/1), Sarasota (66/1), Magwadiri (80/1)
Although the three last time out winners obviously appeal a chance is taken on UBLA who is weighted to turn the tables on Calin's Lad. Gay Kelleway's charge is ultra-consistent and usually a sound each-way proposition in such contests. Of the aforementioned winners The King's Steed who hosed up at Chelmsford is most feared ahead of Steal The Scene who is bidding for a course hat-trick.
- Ubla
- The King's Steed
- Steal The Scene
