Inconsistent, but capable, and bounced back to winning ways over C&D last month. Raised 4lb for that, but ridden by an in-form claimer, and her chance is obvious once more.
Course winner who scored at Kempton in October, and ran just as well when third there next time, but no obvious excuse for a lesser effort there late last month, and needs to show she can bounce back.
12-race maiden who is in good heart at present, and has finished runner-up on her last two starts, both over C&D. 2lb better off for being beaten ¾L by Sepahi last time, and ought to give another good account.
Beaten under 2L with fourth over 7f at Chelmsford in September, and claims with a repeat, but he has been below form on all three starts since, and has questions to answer as a result.
Showed ability on debut for John Joseph Murphy, but failed to improve in two subsequent starts. Makes debut for new yard here, and too early to be written off.
Best effort when winning off this mark here in August over the extended 1m. Obvious claims if reproducing that, but she has been well below her best since, and is hard to support until showing signs of a revival.
Yest to score, and while he has ability, the form he's shown in handicaps of late is not enough to see him get involved. Did show a bit more when last tried in cheekpieces, so return of headgear is a positive.
Beaten a neck in two of her last three runs, with heavy ground a plausible reason for defeat in between. Her latest effort over C&D was a career best and, after just seven starts, is open to more improvement than most.
Won a weak 6f event here on his penultimate start, but proved disappointing when sixth of 11 to Footsteps At Dawn over C&D last time, and needs to improve to defy his current mark.
In good hands, bit this filly looks very modest on the evidence to date, and she needs to improve a good bit for the fitting of a hood to score here.
Has shown enough ability to get involved, but runs to her form sparingly, and recent efforts have been regressive.
Looks very limited based on this season's efforts, and well held off similar marks in handicaps, so hard to see why he should have a major part to play here.
Forecasts
Elzaam's Dream (3/1), Reasoned (7/2), Penarth Pier (5/1), Bullington Boy (6/1), Sepahi (7/1), Sharrabang (8/1), Latent Heat (14/1), French Twist (16/1), Moveonup (25/1), Calima Calling (50/1), Darwina (80/1), Andies Armies (100/1)
Reasoned has the looked the winner before being reeled in the last twice here, and deserves a change of luck, while Sepahi remains fairly treated after bouncing back to winning ways here last time, but ELZAAM'S DREAM put up a career best here last time, and is less exposed than the majority of these, so gets the vote with the possibility of further progress a realistic one.
- Elzaam's Dream
- Reasoned
- Sepahi
