Sulamani gelding out of dam who won over both hurdles and fences. Yard not known for debut bumper winners so may imrpove for this first racecourse experience.
£28,000 Yeats gelding, closely related to the useful Burton Port. Yard 0-2 with its limited runners here in bumpers but worth a check on debut given fair jumps pedigree.
55,000 euro Shantou gelding. Dam is half-sister to talented chaser Cooldine. Yard 2-9 with bumper runners here in recent seasons so has to be respected and may not be too far away on first start.
Elusive Pimpernel gelding who was fair third on bumper debut for Alistair Ralph at Warwick in May and occupied same position on first start for current yard in Carlisle bumper last month. Experience a plus and is worth considering.
Arcadia out of modest maiden dam. Decent yard always respected but this gelding doesn't jump out as a likely debut winner unless market tells a different story.
Black Sam Bellamy gelding out of dual middle-distance Flat winner who also scored over 2m5f over hurdles. Likely to need further than this and may do better once he goes hurdling.
23,000gns Epaulette gelding with a Flat pedigree. Half-brother to French 6f winner. Stamina may be an issue over this trip but hails from fine yard and chance not completely dismissed.
17,000 euros Universal gelding; half-brother to winning hurdler. Yard has 20% strike-rate here in bumpers so any market interest could prove siginifcant on racecourse bow.
Close second on debut in Kelso bumper in May and again shaped nicley when third in Carlisle bumper last month after six-month absence. Looks the better of the two with experience and should be in the thick of the action.
Irish raider by Westerner out of winning hurdler. Only second bumper runner at this venue for connections and very interesting to see if he attrracts market support. One to consider.
Yeats gelding out of seven-time NH winner so looks the part on paper. Yard has fine 28% winning strike-rate here so looks one for the shortlist on balnace of probability.
Only 5000 euros daughter of French sire Califet, but represents yard with overall 45% strike-rate at this track so has to enter calculations. Very interesting contender receiving the 7lb fillies' allowance.
