30-race maiden and hasn't looked like ending that streak in recent attempts, though if there is a positive then January 2018 C&D effort off mark of 58 might be it. Needs to find form.

Overcame some unfavourable circumstances to record a 7f win here in March (second outing for these connections). Failed to run anywhere near that form since; particularly poor last three starts. Back from a break.

Beaten a long way over C&D in August in a handicap, would have a chance on October's Kempton (1m) run if the first-time hood has desired effect.

Shock 100-1winner at Bath (1m2f, good to firm) in August, her only time in the frame from 20 starts so far. Couple of wide-margin reverses back there since and reverts to AW now.

Forecasts

High Fort (2/1), Lethal Laura (9/2), Sir Magnum (5/1), Queen Mia (7/1), Molten Lava (9/1), Silk Mill Blue (10/1), Nabvutika (14/1), King Of Rooks (16/1), George Junior (20/1), Seaforth (25/1), Bescaby (25/1), Prince Consort (40/1), Valentine Mist (66/1)

Verdict

Plenty of these are hard to fancy but not so HIGH FORT, who was beaten only by a next-time-out winner at Newcastle last month and should have very good claims on these terms for the in-form Karen McLintock yard. Lethal Laura is another to have shown up positively at Newcastle recently while Queen Mia is still quite low-mileage and could find a bit more back over the mile.
  1. High Fort
  2. Lethal Laura
  3. Queen Mia
