Managed to finish second in the Vintage Stakes (Group 2) last year but his form has been in decline since. Stamina failed when stepped up to 1m4f at Wolverhampton last time but had been struggling before that and is now with a new yard.
Most recent success came over C&D in October 2018 off a 4lb higher mark. Well held throughout this year so far and needs to find extra to get back on the winning trail.
His last victory was off a 8lb higher mark when he prevailed in a 10-runner contest at Chester (5f) in May 2018. He has run modestly well off this current mark on his last two starts and can't be discounted although his best form is over shorter.
Three good efforts over 5f before not quite matching that over 6f at Chelmsford 76 days ago. Can be competitive off this mark and is a consistent AW performer with his jockey having just his third ride in public.
Bounced back to form on his second run for this yard when getting up late over C&D earlier this month. Up 3lb which seems fair but is also up in grade and that may be enough to prevent a follow-up victory.
Won four times this year (all 6f) and confirmed her improvement when only beaten ¾L off this mark in a Class 2 handicap at Windsor in July. Had a break since then but hard to rule out if 100% ready to go.
Unbeaten in two AW runs last year (both 6f) and also ran well in a conditions race at Chester when last seen 454 days ago. Questions about whether she retains her ability after such a long break; probably best watched unless market says otherwise.
Ungenuine but talented gelding, and back to winning ways at Newmarket (6f) in May, and one or two decent efforts since. Hard to trust, but handles this surface, if he fancies it.
Finished fifth on all three outings since returning from a break including when beaten 3½L over this C&D last time out. Races off a mark 3lb higher than when winning at Chester (6f, good to soft) in May.
Dual AW winner (6½f/7f) who has been in good heart on turf in recent starts, finishing third of 14 most recently at Newmarket (7f, heavy). Yard's runners in good heart but his form over this trip leaves him with something to find.
Had a good spell with two wins (both 6f) and a third in the Ayr Bronze Cup sandwiched in between. Was too keen in small-field conditions event last time at Wolverhampton and may be better suited with this bigger field back in a handicap.
Four-time C&D winner (never won anywhere else); 3lb below his last winning mark in March 2018 and has run three fair races in defeat this year. Has an each-way squeak back under his favoured conditions.
