Flat/hurdles winner, unshipped rider early on chase debut at Huntingdon but shaped much better since at Sedgefield (2m3½f, soft; 7-1) and could have claims on the back of that.
Enjoying a good time of things for Christian Williams, with three wins since July (two over fences), including 3m2f conditionals handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot in September. Needs to do a bit more again here.
Formerly with Joseph O'Brien, the Getaway gelding opened his account at Warwick (2m4f, good to soft; 10-1) in conditionals race in September and went close again a month later at Exeter off 5lb higher. Up another 4lb this afternoon.
1-7 last season, but made winning reappearance at over C&D 29 days ago with something to spare. 8lb rise to counter and must prove he can back it up.
Irish maiden point-to-point winner, yet to impress in three chase starts for this trainer and cheekpieces are now tried with plenty to prove on recent showings.
Hit and miss character, with just one success in 17 career starts. Well held at Uttoxeter on debut for this trainer four week ago and plenty to prove as a result.
Winner for Henry De Bromhead over fences away back in 2015 but has two long absences on his record since and raced only twice since September of that year. Starts out for new connections with a watching brief.
Well backed at Wincanton penultimate start; his fourth chase start, and duly ran a better race in third. Starting to get asked questions at Ludlow since when came to grief four out. Closely matched with Write It Down over this trip.
Was back from 328-day break when running fair 6¼L third of seven at Plumpton (2m3½f, heavy; 7-2) this month and far from inconceivable this 15-race maiden will build on that effort now.
Maiden, sent off 5-1 on chase debut at Newton Abbot (3m2f, good) in August but was never going with a lot of enthusiasm. Has had a wind op since and eased 5lb, but remains with work to be done.
