Gelding by Requinto. Not much to shout about in a couple of career starts so far including a heavy defeat over C&D earlier this month.
By Camelot. Closely related to several winners and is a half-brother to 1m2f high-class winner Collection. Shaped well enough to finish fourth of 14 beaten 4L over 7f on first start on this surface last month. Another bold bid likely.
Son of Dragon Pulse out of a Rock Of Gibraltar mare. Closely related to winners Rockie Road, Racing Angel and six-time victor Refuse Collette. Hard to make a case for based on dismal debut effort over 7f at this venue earlier this month.
€24,000 yearling by Aussie sire Hallowed Crown is a half-brother to Italian 7.5f 2yo winner Painful. Can only improve on below-par debut run at Naas when last seen in July.
Siyouni colt. Half-brother to three winners, including smart winner up to 1m2½f Karaktar, useful juvenile 6f winner Karamaya. Promising debut over 7f at this track late last month finishing fifth of the 14 runners. Enters calculations.
Promise of his debut run at the Curragh in August has not been fulfilled but the Hard Spun colt was thought good enough to contest the Group 1 Futurity Stakes at Newcastle earlier in the month. Hard to ignore.
Gale Force Ten gelding, closely related to 1m2f winner Arlecchino's Arc. Hard to make a case for on the back of a couple of dismal efforts over 7f at the Curragh earlier in the season.
Lope De Vega colt. Vast improvement from first run to second when finishing runner-up in a 14 runner 7f maiden here late last month. More needed but one for any shortlist.
Colt by Excelebration out of a Dance Brightly mare. Dam, winner of two races on AW surface over 6f and 7f. Running with plenty of credit in defeat in a couple of starts over C&D. Likely to run well once again.
Posted a career best effort last month when finishing second of 14 beaten ¾L over C&D behind the highly thought of, Thames River. Looks sure to progress and in good hands.
Daughter of Invincible Spirit out of a Dalakhani mare. Tailed off in two starts to date, including 15L 16th in 6f Cork maiden at the start of month. Readily opposable on all evidence.
Didn't fare too badly after a slow start when 8L 11th of 14 on Dundalk debut last month. Looks opposable and has plenty to prove at present.

It is hard to get away from the Emmet Mullins-trained KING OF THE THRONE who ran with great credit in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes at Newcastle earlier in the month. The Hard Spun colt appears to have been found an ideal opportunity to get off the mark at the fourth time of asking at the expense of the Sheila Lavery-trained Stinglikeabee who posted a career best effort last month when finishing second of 14 beaten ¾L over C&D behind the highly thought of, Thames River. Psyche for trainer Jessica Harrington and the Mick Halford-trained Karbasann can compete for remaining prize money.
