Respectable second on debut at Chelmsford but bettered that when making all to win at Lingfield (7f) last month. Sets the form standard despite penalty. The one to beat.

Lawman colt. Full brother to St Leger winner Harbour Law and half-brother to various winners, including juvenile scorer Moheet. Appealing pedigree so not to be dismissed.

Down the field on debut start but bettered that when second in 7f contest here last month. That form looks windy though so more likely to be needed once again.

Slight progress from both debut effort when finishing third - albeit beaten 15L - at Nottingham earlier this month on heavy ground. Makes AW debut and likely to have more progression in this sphere.

Twice-raced maiden. Uninspiring debut effort but improved enough to take fourth in 7f contest at this track last month. Hurricane Alex was second that day so has to find more to reverse that form.

Telescope colt. Half-Brother to several winners including up to 1m1f winner Miss Cato and 1m5f winner Regal Monarch. Yard can ready one so worth a check in the market.

Archipenko filly. Full sister to 1m2f winner Euro Penko and half-sister to various winners including 1m2f scorer Alzavola. Likeable pedigree but should fare better over further.

Casamento filly. Half-sister to three winners including the likes of 7f scorer Solar Flair. Appeal on paper but yard doesn't tend to strike with juveniles.

Sixties Icon filly. Full sister to two winners in Fadeintoinfinity (6f) and Porteous (7f). Half-sister to several winners as well and may be dangerous to ignore on debut.

Progressive sort. Ran well to take third on debut before going on to finish second at Southwell (1m) last month. Entitled to come on once again and should be thereabouts.

Horse silk
66/1
Al Kazeem filly. Half-sister to 1m3f winner Cubswin and juvenile scorer Night Sheriff. Nice enough profile but looks to be yard's second string.

Uninspiring debut effort but bettered that slightly to finish fourth in C&D novice in August. Still off winning form however and more needed once again.

Al Kazeem filly. Dam didn't win on the track but half-sister to the high-class Manighar. Pedigree remains a slight unknown but first string on jockey bookings.

Horse silk
50/1
Toronado filly. Dam was a winner over 1m and has close relations to the high-class performer Nayyir (1m2f). Betting check needed.

Forecasts

Cranberry (10/11), Capla Cubiste (11/2), Eastern Sheriff (8/1), Hurricane Alex (9/1), Morlaix (16/1), Scarlet Ruby (16/1), Justified (20/1), Royal Astronomer (25/1), Golden Cygnet (40/1), Alveda (50/1), Vertice (50/1), Arietta (66/1), Brown Eyed Girl (66/1), Cinnabar (66/1)

Verdict

A trappy-looking contest, preference is for CRANBERRY, who sets the form standard on her victory last time out and despite shouldering a penalty, has a useful claimer on board and should take all of the beating. While the form of the race is questionable, Hurricane Alex did well to finish second here last time and could be the main danger given his experience, while the likes of debutantes Royal Astronomer and Eastern Sheriff can't be dismissed.
