Horse A-Z
Gutaifan filly. Dam was unraced on the track but has produced useful 7f winner Jawwaal and is herself a half-sister to smart 7f performer Ouqba. Pedigree is of interest but yard rarely known for first time winners.

6/1
Al Kazeem filly. Showed some inexperience but ran well enough on debut to finish fourth here over 1m last month. Drop back in trip not sure to suit but interesting contender nonetheless.

Horse silk
13/8
Twice-raced maiden. Improved from both starts to date and ran well to take third in 6f Naas contest last month. Irish raider is like to take some beating if replicating that effort.

Horse silk
80/1
Camacho filly. Sent off 100-1 for debut at this track and ran accordingly when 11th of 14 in 7f contest two weeks ago. Likely to be towards the rear of the field once again.

Horse silk
25/1
First foal by Due Diligence and hails from family of past 1000 Guineas winner Cape Verdi. Failed to stay when sixth in minor event at Chelmsford (7f) in late October and may be of more interest when handicapping.

£16,000 yearling by Hot Streak. Half sister to juvenile winner Armed Response (6f) and 7f winner Capla Gilda. Interesting enough pedigree so worth a market check.

(4)
Horse silk
33/1
War Command filly. Dam was a winner over 7f as a two-year-old and performed well over a mile in time. Pedigree is an unknown however and probably best watched on racecourse debut.

11/10
War Command filly. Sent off 20/1 for minor C&D on debut but outran her odds to finish staying-on second. May need further in time but set to progress once again and is a leading contender.
9
(11)
Horse silk
100/1
Sent off rank outsider for debut effort over C&D and ran accordingly when finishing down the field ninth. Likely to play a minor role once again.

Horse silk
66/1
Swiss Spirit filly. Dam was unraced on the track but produced 7f winner Lualiwa and is half-sister to 6f winner Texas Gold. Yard not firing with two-year-olds lately so best watched.

(12)
Horse silk
66/1
Once-raced maiden and didn't show tons of ability when ninth of 11 in minor C&D event last month. Wasn't knocked about that day and may be one to do better in time.
12
(10)
Horse silk
25/1
4,500 gns yearling by Gutaifan. Related to 1m winner Cherubic and half-sister to various winners, including 1m2f winner Humungous. Likeable pedigree but this trip may be on the sharp side.

Forecasts

Cry Havoc (11/10), Lapses Linguae (13/8), Gazelle (6/1), New Arrival (25/1), High Maintenance (25/1), Catherine Bay (25/1), Cath The Great (33/1), Don't Tell Claire (40/1), Broughton Sunpearl (66/1), May Happen (66/1), Celtic Mist (80/1), Little Floozie (100/1)

Verdict

It's interesting that Irish trainer Emmet Mullins brings over a runner, and LAPSES LINGUAE sets the form standard on his third at Naas in what looks a good maiden. He should take all the beating if further improving. Cry Havoc was shuffled back in the pack on her debut effort but took the eye when finishing second and could be the main danger, while the likes of Gazelle and New Arrival represent interest, but may fare better over further in time.
  1. Lapses Linguae
  2. Cry Havoc
  3. Gazelle
