Made a winning debut when victorious by a neck in a 7f novice event at Sandown (good-to-firm) in July. Form of that is working out well and he is one for the shortlist despite carrying a penalty.
Unraced Sea The Stars colt bought for 55,000 gns at the sales last autumn. Half-brother to the useful Broughton among others and he is an interesting runner on debut.
Ran well to finish runner-up in a heavy ground maiden over an extended 1m when debuting at Nottingham earlier this month. Represents a top yard and he looks likely to play a leading role in this event.
Unraced son of Pour Moi fetched 200,000 gns at the sales in October last year. Dam won twice on turf and market support would be notable on first racecourse appearance.
Failed to figure when finishing 12th of 14 in a similar race to this on debut over C&D earlier this month. Probably best watched at present.
Unraced Authorized colt purchased for €75,000 at the sales earlier this year. Rare two-year-old runner for a stable with a 50% strike-rate (2/4) from a handful of runners in recent weeks.
Promising 6L third when making his debut in a 7f novice race at Newbury (good-to-firm) just under two months ago. Half-brother to a dual winner at this track and has a good draw for this AW debut.
Ran well on both starts to date including when third over C&D on debut early last month. Good fourth over 7f here subsequently and stable are in great form (7/31) at present.
Unraced gelded son of Authorized bought for 50,000 gns at the sales in October 2018. Half-brother to multiple winner Adamant but looks the stable second string on debut.
Unraced Golden Horn colt bought for 55,000 gns as a yearling 12 months ago. Half-brother to a couple of winners and stable can boast a 50% strike-rate (3/6) in the last two weeks.
Slowly away when finishing ninth in an 11 runner 6f maiden at this track on debut last month. Step up in trip a positive but more needed if she is to take this event.
Struggled when finishing 40L 14th in a heavy ground maiden over this trip at Doncaster on debut last month. Others hold stronger claims.
Signs of ability when fifth in a C&D novice race on debut three weeks ago. Improvement likely but has a wide draw to overcome on this occasion.
Unraced home-bred Sea The Moon filly out of a mare who was placed in Listed company in France. Worth a check in the market on racecourse debut.
Forecasts
Laser Show (6/4), Hukum (11/4), Book Review (3/1), Pyramid Place (16/1), Cozone (16/1), Lord Neidin (25/1), Stagiaire (33/1), Aljalela (40/1), Lady Magda (50/1), Deposit (66/1), Approximate (66/1), Billhilly (66/1), Rodrigo Diaz (100/1), Gloriano (100/1)
BOOK REVIEW hails from a top yard and he can build on a promising second place finish on debut by taking this highly competitive novice event. The selection looks capable of getting the better of debut winner Laser Show who showed good form when winning on debut in the summer while third place can go the way of Hukum who filled the same position on his first outing at Newbury in September.
