Was very green on debut at Ayr (1m, soft) last month but improved to finish fourth at Southwell (1m, Fibresand) four weeks ago, beaten 3¼L. Another step forward required but is entirely possible on a less testing surface.

Full-brother to 1m1½f (here) winner Lunar Corona and half-brother to useful 7f/7½f winner Astrologer. Shaped well on debut at Newmarket (7f, soft) 15 days ago after missing the break and running green. Should have learnt plenty.

Cost 125,000 gns as a yearling; took a step forward from a moderate debut at Newbury (1m, heavy) three weeks ago, beaten 3L. Extra yardage and this less testing surface should both help with further improvement.

Finished a modest fifth on debut at Newcastle (1m, Tapeta) but improved when beaten ½L into third at Nottingham (1m½f, soft) 17 days ago. Does need another step forward and may not have the improvement of some of his rivals.

Mastercraftsman half-brother to smart 7f-1¼m winneer Gibeon and 2-y-o 7f winner Gemina. Hasn't shown a great deal in two runs thus far, being well beaten at Ascot (7f) and Bath (1m). Bred to do better but handicapping may help further down the line.

Dubawi colt; first foal of an dam 1m½f stakes winner in the USA. Showed his inexperience when beaten a nose over 1m½f here four weeks ago and should be involved again if benefitting from that experience.
€75,000 yearling; half-brother to 8.6f-1m4f winner Deja (including here). Yard have had a quiet year with just three winners and aren't renowned for their winning debutantes.

Verdict

Some leading yards and well-bred types in this line-up, with CELESTRAN the selection after a promising debut at Newmarket. He is related to a winner at this track and the Gosden juveniles continue to go well. Charlie Appleby's Poet's Mind was just narrowly denied at this course four weeks ago after racing greenly and the longer trip is a positive whilst Favorite Moon is another who should benefit from the longer yardage and less demanding surface.
