Already a winner this autumn, having been successful at Fontwell over slightly further in September; below that form in two subsequent starts and wouldn't want the ground to get too soft either; bit more to do under a penalty.
Bumper winner at Doncaster last December but didn't really build on that in three subsequent starts; another that probably wants decent ground to show his best, and could conceivably do better now going over some hurdles.
Twice a winner on the Flat this year, both from marks in the 60's, but signs of temperament now appearing in his work, and two refusals in his last two starts do not augur well. Change of code might perk his ideas up, but clearly very risky.
Won a low-grade handicap at Brighton earlier in the season, a track he really likes, but there are plenty of other moderate efforts surrounding that win and he's not one for maximum faith on hurdles debut today.
Very useful handicapper on the Flat, winning at Goodwood from a mark of 91 last month; won't mind any further rain and with top yard, so obvious chance if he can translate that ability over hurdles, and is one of the main players here.
Has ability, as a Flat rating of 90 demonstrates, but became very disappointing for William Haggas and showed next to nothing on hurdles debut at Market Rasen last month, proving too keen for his own good. Very risky at present.
Not beaten far in a couple of bumpers in the summer, showing plenty of ability in the process; will want further in time but likely to progress and yard having a decent time of it this autumn. Could be one for e/w players.
Regressive over middle distances on the Flat, rated just 55 when well beaten at Chelmsford last month and little chance of causing an upset on hurdles debut here.
Placed in a couple of moderate bumpers, including here on debut in January; clearly has some ability and there's probably a race or two to be won with him over hurdles, but may need this after his summer break.
Tailed off in a pair of bumpers and needs massive improvement from somewhere if he's to get competitive today.
Did win one on the Flat at Wolverhampton (off a mark of 52) back in May but never in the hunt on hurdles debut at Stratford last month; handicaps down the line will be more her bag.
Forecasts
Now Children (8/11), Book Of Invasions (7/2), Archimento (11/2), Rock On Tiger (8/1), Buckland Boy (14/1), Volunteer (16/1), Esspeegee (50/1), Reverend Jacobs (66/1), Strictly Art (80/1), Lady Of Authority (100/1), Eightsixsix (150/1)
Probably only a handful to concentrate on. Now Children was the best of these on the Flat and if he can jump, probably takes the beating, but at likely bigger prices both Book Of Invasions and ROCK ON TIGER make some each-way appeal. Henry Daly never rushes his novices and to that extent, the fact he has already shown plenty of ability can only augur well for his chances here. Book Of Invasions was out of his depth in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree on his final start but had shown plenty of ability before that, and appeals as the type to take to hurdles.
