Verdict

Winner of a May bumper before purchased for £150,000, FAKIR D'ALENE can land the closer for trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd. The Jessica Harrington-trained Jungle Junction can emerge as a big danger following a impressive run at Punchestown in April when finishing second of 25 beaten 1L behind Front View, who finished second of 17 recently behind the highly thought of Envoi Allen in a Down Royal maiden hurdle earlier this month. The trainer and jockey combination of Willie and Patrick Mullins command respect represented by Energumene on debut, with One Down and Dexter Tiger looking the best of the remaining newcomers.
  1. Fakir D'alene
  2. Jungle Junction
  3. Energumene
