8/1
C&D winner in March and capable of defying current mark, recent spin over hurdles at Wincanton will have primed fitness and should give a solid account back over fences.

Love The Leaderp16
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-11| J: Luca Morgan(7)| T: J Farrelly| OR:  97| BF| CD
12/1
Good-ground winner at Wincanton on reappearance last month and beaten only ¾L over C&D six days later. Up in the weights this time but in good form and should remain that way.
3

Timcodat21
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-10| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Jamie Snowden| OR:  96
11/2
Much better effort on return post-wind surgery when second at Uttoxeter (3m, soft; 6-1) last month, beaten less than 1L. Entitled to have eyes on similar outcome now, and could build on it.
4

Mauna Keav22
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-3| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: P Gundry| OR:  89
14/1
Pulled up over hurdles here last month on reappearance and didn't fare much better at Wincanton (3m1f, good) on second career start over fences 12 days later (beaten 28L). Has plenty to work on.

Dont Be Robinv18

7/1
Chepstow winner in April (rated 78) and made pleasing reappearance when second of eight at Plumpton over similar trip on soft ground last month. Should be in firing line again with fitness boosted.

Kiwi Mythp,t213
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-8| J: Mr M Legg(5)| T: Mrs F M Shaw| OR:  80
8/1
Winner of a 3m handicap at Exeter in March on third chase start and not disgraced there a month later in Class 4 company. Has tended to need a run in the past, so may be best watched today.

Tactical Manoeuvre168
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-1| J: Rex Dingle(5)| T: J Scott| OR:  73
1/1
Best effort in 10 chase starts was runner-up in four-runner affair here over 2m1½f in March 2018; much to ponder after lacklustre efforts last season and needs to bounce back returning for new stable.

Grayhawkt180
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-0| J: J E Moore| T: Mrs D Grissell| OR:  64
50/1
Took second spot in four-runner C&D handicap in April, though that remains easily his best outcome in 14 starts over fences and isn't helped on reappearance racing from out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Tactical Manoeuvre (1/1), Timcoda (11/2), Dont Be Robin (7/1), Kiwi Myth (8/1), Cap Horner (8/1), Love The Leader (12/1), Mauna Kea (14/1), Grayhawk (50/1)

Verdict

Wind surgery appeared to bring more from TIMCODA as he finished a close second on reappearance at Uttoxeter three weeks ago. Jamie Snowden's mount is sharper now and may not need to improve on that to go on better, though he clearly has potential for more. Cap Horner should be primed after a recent hurdles outing while Love The Leader and Dont Be Robin are also in good heart.
  1. Timcoda
  2. Cap Horner
  3. Love The Leader
