€475,000 yearling purchase. Ran with credit for a long way before once-paced sixth on debut at Newmarket (7f) last month. Likely to be suited better by this trip so holds strong claims.

Frankel filly. Dam was a Listed winner and Group One placed during her career. Notably full sister to Group Three winner Master Of Reality and Listed scorer Chamonix. Regal pedigree so worth a betting check.

Disappointing seventh on debut at Chester but showed signs of progression when staying-on fourth over C&D last month. More progression maybe needed now but holds place claims.

Pour Moi filly. Didn't look that impressive in paddock on debut and ran accordingly when 29L 10th of 11 at Newcastle (1m) last month. Offers limited appeal once again.
By 2012 2000 Guineas/Derby winner Camelot out of a mare who on twice over extended 1m on the track. Progeny have failed to make an impact on the track so far and second-choice for trainer on jockey bookings.

Nathaniel filly. Dam performed with credit between 5f-1m on the track and is a full sister to two-time winner Ronald R. Interesting enough pedigree but up against some useful rivals.

Sea The Stars filly who was slowly away and never on terms when 11th on debut at Doncaster (1m, heavy) in late October. Yard not know for striking with two-year-olds so best opposed.

By German Derby winner Sea The Moon. Dam was a maiden on the track but is a half-sister to two-time winner Naomh Geileis and German scorer Space Cowboy. Claims but others have more striking pedigrees.

Dubawi filly out of an Irish Oaks-winning mare. Full sister to three-time winner Dubhe and two-time scorer Great Bear. Pedigree is striking and hails from a top yard. Dangerous to ignore.

Last of 10 here on debut and didn't better that when 10th in bottomless conditions at Doncaster (1m) next time out. Unlikely to trouble the judges once again.

Uninspiring debut effort but improved from that to finish never nearer third at Musselburgh (7f) last month. Progression likely but more will be needed again.

Forecasts

Beauty Stone (15/8), Sun Bear (7/2), Frankenstella (4/1), Hesssa (4/1), Moonlight In Paris (5/1), Warne's Army (14/1), Our Girl Sheila (16/1), Girl From Mars (25/1), Soramond (33/1), High Moor Flyer (66/1), Volcano Bay (80/1), Sea Of Shadows (125/1)

Verdict

A trappy-looking maiden contest, preference is for BEAUTY STONE, who ran respectably in a hot-looking Newmarket maiden and was crying out for a step up in trip that day. The yard's form with juveniles this term is a plus too. Her main rivals could be the debutante Sun Bear, who is regally bred and hails from an in-form yard, and Girl From Mars, who is steadily progressing based on her fourth over C&D last time. A dark horse to watch could be Frankenstella, who may well excel over further in time.
  1. Beauty Stone
  2. Girl From Mars
  3. Sun Bear
