Southwell regular (boasts six C&D wins on his CV); placed off today's mark on his last couple of starts, including when run down close home by Filbert Street (Final Legacy fourth) over C&D last week; riders 7lb claim is considered most helpful.
3lb higher than when winning on Tapeta at Newcastle (5f) in June (beat Arnold by a head); much less productive on turf since; others make more appeal.
Followed up a Newcastle success (5f) when overcoming a tardy start to power clear of Arzaak (Piazon third) over C&D a fortnight ago; a subsequent 5lb rise will make life tougher, yet is respected nevertheless.
Maiden (0-9); 6lb lower than when finishing 2L second to Sussex Solo at Lingfield (7½f, soft) in July; mildly interesting to see how he adapts to racing on Fibresand at the minimum trip.
Knocking at the door on turf in September (5f-6f) but is 0-10 on the AW; prominent until weakening inside the final furlong when seventh of 13 to shock winner Rangefield Express at Newcastle (5f) on Friday.
Maiden (0-6); has eased in the weights to a career low mark of 53; half-sister to a Fibresand winner (On The Warpath) which at least offers some hope; also is in excellent hands with Kevin Ryan.
Selling winner earlier in the year at Thirsk (6f) for David O'Meara (sold out of that race for £12,000); poor since joining John Balding and undergoing wind surgery; look elsewhere.
Struck on handicap debut at Kempton (5f) 13 days ago, particularly strong at the finish when reeling in Katherine Place; a subsequent 2lb weights rise looks to be more than fair; a major player on Fibresand debut.
Hit the target when flooring favourite backers (Broughton Excels) late on at Chelmsford (6f) last month; twice beaten since and still 2lb higher; vulnerable over 5f?
Placed over C&D on handicap debut in May but precious little to enthuse over more recently; stablemate of Final Legacy; simply can't be considered as a realistic contender.
Maiden (0-5); minor improvement when finishing 2½L fourth (100-1) to Filbert Street (Piazon second) over C&D last week; preferred stablemate of Purely Prosecco.
Maiden (0-20); well down the field in 6f handicaps at Naas (good) and The Curragh (yielding) when last in competitive action; very lowly rated and difficult to fancy on Fibresand debut.

Young Tiger (4/1), Hey Ho Let's Go (5/1), Piazon (11/2), Catapult (13/2), Guardia Svizzera (7/1), Sagittarian Wind (7/1), Murqaab (12/1), Decision Maker (14/1), Inner Charm (14/1), Miss Gradenko (14/1), Final Legacy (16/1), Gala N Dandy (50/1), Purely Prosecco (100/1)
Piazon has been running well recently and must always be feared at this track. He has related form with the hat-trick seeking Young Tiger and also Derek Shaw's three-year-old filly Final Legacy and should be there or thereabouts with the 7lb claim of Harry Russell considered a major boost to his winning chance. However, the lightly raced MISS GRADENKO is clearly an improving filly for Robert Cowell. She broke her duck on handicap debut at Kempton (5f) a fortnight ago and a token 2lb rise can probably be considered to be a shade lenient.
- Miss Gradenko
- Piazon
- Young Tiger
