Fourth in Swinton Hurdle at Haydock in May, and better than bare result on Flat return at Newmarket in August. Failed to fire back over timber at Stratford last time. On a fair mark if bouncing back, and ran well here as a juvenile when last tried.

Better on turf than AW, although that may be circumstantial. Won at Newmarket in August, but form has dipped on his last two starts, and he needs to find his best stride to score off current mark.

Sole win in 23 British starts came over 1¼m here last spring, and best effort this year when third of 14 to Regal Director over 1m3f here last time. Course clearly suits, but his win record remains a concern.

Looking for a 10th career success but on a long losing run stretching back to May 2017. Offered a bit more from his reduced mark when a close third over 1m3f here last time, and should remain in form for all he was seen to maximum effect.

Gained second win of the year over this trip at Newmarket in September, although that form looks a little suspect, and she needs to improve again to defy a career-high mark.

Windsor winner back in April, but mainly out of form since then. Did show a bit more when fourth at Newbury (1¼m, good) last month, however, and would have a chance if building on that now.

Had wind surgery since scoring on Polytrack at Lingfield (1½m) in February, but it doesn't seem to have worked based on his subsequent performances, and again started slowly when well beaten at Wolverhampton off a break early this month.

Weakened tamely when last of four to Quintada at Newmarket last month, but had finished 5L ahead of that rival at Wolverhampton previously, and meets her on better terms here, so has claims assuming she can be excused her latest flop.

Adams Park11
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-1| J: Alistair Rawlinson| T: M Appleby| OR:  73

Won over hurdles for Dr Richard Newland last summer, but lightly raced and poor form since, offering little encouragement on return from absence for new yard at Wolverhampton recently.

Natty Night17
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-13| J: M Dwyer| T: W R Muir| OR:  77| D

Did too much in front last time, but has been running with credit prior to that, and not a forlorn hope for all he's not assured of an easy lead.

Forecasts

Natty Night (5/2), Kyllachy Gala (5/1), Allegiant (5/1), He's Amazing (8/1), Noble Gift (9/1), Quintada (9/1), Stagehand (10/1), Fiesole (12/1), Tralee Hills (33/1), Adams Park (50/1)

Verdict

STAGEHAND disappointed last time, but she's better judged on her previous run when 5L ahead of Quintada, and she is able to meet that rival on better terms now. Kyllachy Gala has obvious place claims for all he doesn't win as often as he ought to, and Natty Night could make them all go if able to dictate a steady pace, although that won't be easy with Noble Gift having the same game-plan.
  1. Stagehand
  2. Kyllachy Gala
  3. Natty Night
