Well drawn here and well treated on his second to subsequent Lincoln winner Auxerre over C&D 12 months ago. Things haven't gone his way since, but is taking an ease in class, and could well get back on the up as a result.
Second at Ripon in August and built on that at second attempt when finishing best to score over 1m at Newcastle last time. Suited by way that race was run, and more required from revised mark.
Won here in March and at Bath in June, but not at his best in recent starts, and still above his last winning mark on this surface, so has a bit to prove, for all a return to Polytrack may help.
Several creditable efforts for Malcolm Saunders in 2018, but returned for new yard after an absence here recently, and offered little, so has plenty to prove.
Not quite at the level she showed last year when winning twice, but hinted at a return to peak form when third over C&D last time. Represents a yard in form, and shortlisted.
Front-runner who wins in his turn, but remains high in the weights based on previous AW form, and that has come on a different surface. Opposable in this line-up.
Made all to win at Epsom in May, and ran well after a break when third of 12 to Dominus at Chelmsford last time. No easy lead to be had here, though, and needs to do everything right from current mark.
Only a maiden win at Pontefract to his name to date, though has been running well in defeat and finished well when runner-up over 7f at Wolverhampton last time. Worth another try at 1m on that evidence.
A winner on debut in soft ground at Goodwood but has failed to hit the frame in seven subsequent starts. More promise in his run behind Khuzaam over C&D last time, but needs to show he can build on that.
Improved markedly when making a successful handicap debut over C&D in November, and concerns over subsequent absence are ameliorated by yard's excellent record with horses returning from similar breaks.
Won at Newbury in July, and better form when runner-up there in August, but he has not run to that level elsewhere this year, which has to be a worry.
Won a 1m handicap at Windsor in August, and just touched off there last time. For at other tracks is of similar calibre, so she ought to remain in form, and not discounted.
Placed twice for William Haggas, but sold for 17,000 gns, and was below form on debut for new yard at Wolverhampton. Entitled to have needed that, but probably needs his sights lowered to get back on track.
Forecasts
Piece Of History (13/8), Eden Gardens (5/1), Fennaan (8/1), Akvavera (8/1), Chairmanoftheboard (12/1), I'lletyougonow (14/1), Canal Rocks (16/1), Reloaded (18/1), Corazon Espinado (20/1), Call Out Loud (40/1), Poetic Force (50/1), Easy Tiger (100/1), Kentucky Kingdom (100/1)
EDEN GARDENS has been off since landing a nursery in some style over C&D last year, but his trainer is adept at readying handicappers returning from similar breaks, and he's clearly got more to offer. Piece of History is feared on his form her last autumn, especially now dropped in grade, and I'lletyougonow should translate her turf form to this surface, and is another to bear in mind.
