Two wins over hurdles this year (2m2½f/2m5½f) and returned from a break to finish second at Worcester (2m7f, good to soft) 17 days ago. The trip may have stretched him but a double penalty didn't help and he is shouldered with another here.

From the family of Scottish National winner Grey Abbey, he was beaten 119L on bumper debut here (1m7½f, good to soft) in March. Joined a new yard for hurdling debut and is best watched.

Failed to beat a rival in his three bumpers and, although he beat one home, was beaten 89L on hurdling debut at Exeter (2m2½f, good) recently. Easily overlooked.

Joined this yard after finishing second in his third Irish point at Curraghmore in April. Is a half-brother to 130-rated winning hurdle Bercasa and interesting to see how he goes on first start under rules.

Dam half-sister to top Flat performer Cirrus Des Aigles. Didn't show a great deal when down the field in two bumpers last season, most recently beaten 20L at Stratford (2m½f, good) in March. First runner for rookie trainer.

Improved in four Irish points to culminating in a 5L win at Loughanmore (3m, good) in May. Joined the Tizzard team for £30,000 shortly afterwards and starts life under rules under suitable conditions. An interesting contender.

Is hard to fancy after being tailed off in all three starts in bumpers and the switch to hurdles made no difference when beaten 105L over C&D (good) 10 days ago.

Dam unraced half-sister to Grand National hero Ballabriggs. Touched off on Irish point debut 18 months ago before joining this yard shortly after for £70,000. Promising second on bumper debut at Warwick five weeks ago and yard continue in good form.

20/1
Dual flat winner in 2017 who has been in the doldrums on the level this season. Switched to hurdles seemed to spark him into life at Exeter (2m2½f, good) 17 days ago and whilst he is more exposed than most, that was a promising start.

Half-brother to four winners over obstacles. Built on a moderate bumper debut when third at Ascot (1m7½f, good) 12 months ago but not seen since. In good hands and some obstacles will suit based on pedigree. Still has more to offer.

Won an Irish point in October 2018 but bought by this yard for just £4,200 in July. Tailed off on all three starts this year and very little to recommend.

Verdict

Ex-Irish pointers Clondaw Dancer, Jeremy Sunshine and KILTEALY BRIGGS have all shown enough potential to take a hand in this, with the last named taken to come out on top. He was strongly fancied on bumper debut at Warwick recently and the switch to hurdles is a plus. Another for whom the obstacles should help is Zyon. He showed some promise in an Ascot bumper last November and can build on that for his leading stable.
