Verdict

THAMES RIVER for trainer/jockey combination of Joseph and Donnacha O'Brien can improve on his solid debut run over 7f earlier this month finishing second of 14 at this venue to win on his second career start stepping up in trip. The Free Eagle colt can hold off the intentions of Sliabh Aughty who ran future Group 3 Killavullan Stakes winner, Stela Star to a neck here over 7f last month. The Dermot Weld-trained, Prince Khalid Abdullah-owned, Nayef colt, Classify can be expected to improve on his first run at Tipperary earlier this month. Stinglikeabee for trainer Sheila Lavery and debutante Balmari could be lively outsiders on this surface.
