Dawn Approach colt makes his handicap debut following three well held efforts where he has only beaten a total of three rivals home. Plenty of improvement required.

Showed promise early but his form has regressed in three starts in handicap company so far. Well handicapped on early efforts but it's a big question as to whether he can bounce back on AW debut.

Remains a maiden following 10 starts and while he's not been disgraced of late, he isn't really progressing. A similar effort would give him place possibilities. Stable also runs Pitcher.

Stable in fine form but he's been well held in three runs so far and finished tailed off latest. Huge step forward in first time hood needed on handicap debut.

Produced a much improved effort on handicap debut when a staying on narrow third at Chepstow. Makes AW debut and the extra two furlongs are a likely boost. Rates a leading contender.

Was in the process of running a good race when meeting interference late over this C&D on handicap debut. Would not have challenged the winner but could have finished placed and likely there's more to come now for an in form yard.

Has made an immediate impression in handicaps with a Southwell win and a latest C&D second. Races off the same mark here again and despite flashing his tail, he kept on well off a slow pace. Should be competitive.

Seven-race maiden produced a career best second over a mile at this track. Two runs since have been disappointing and neither have they suggested she's a certain stayer at this trip.

Dragon Pulse colt has been very well beaten in three starts so far. Makes track and handicap debut and would need to improve out of sight to be anywhere near involved.

Goddess Of Firep137
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: A McCarthy| T: J Ryan| OR:  50

Well beaten in all four starts for Ed Dunlop and only beat one rival home in two previous visits here. Hard to fancy on stable debut.

Seven-race maiden hasn't been the easiest of rides so far and often struggles to go the pace. Up in distance but still easy to look elsewhere.

Forecasts

Sophar Sogood (5/4), Big Boris (6/1), Lexington Quest (8/1), Pitcher (10/1), Master Rocco (10/1), Draw Lots (10/1), Prestigious (12/1), Chateau Peapod (16/1), Ami Li Bert (16/1), Austin Taetious (16/1), Goddess Of Fire (33/1)

Verdict

BIG BORIS had to be switched late when narrowly failing to get up on his handicap debut and this extra distance looks ideal to provide a breakthrough success. Prestigious also didn't get an ideal passage on her latest effort over this C&D and should be a challenger. Sophar Sogood has improved since switching to handicaps and with a likely stronger pace than he got last time, he should be in the mix once again.
  1. Big Boris
  2. Prestigious
  3. Sophar Sogood
