Age: 6|  Weight: 12-0| J: Alain Cawley| T: Micky Hammond| OR:  127| D
100/1
GB/stable debut having shown some useful form as a juvenile when trained in France winning over a similar trip to today (soft ground) at Auteuil. Form relatively modest since; fell at the second when last seen; mark looks fairly harsh.

Ardera Crossp36
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: Sam Coltherd(3)| T: W Young Jnr| OR:  125| D
50/1
Cheap purchase from the Skelton yard and surprisingly showed more progress over fences/hurdles in the summer (won four times). Well below-par on his latest two starts; may well now be handicapped up to his best.
3
Horse silk
Ted Veale151
Age: 12|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mr Kit Alexander(5)| T: N W Alexander| OR:  125| D
33/1
Veteran who was a very useful handicapper over hurdles back in the day but would be unable to match that level of form now. Had made a useful start for this yard but looked to have gone off the boil when last seen; returns from a break.

Raise A Sparkh,t123
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-10| J: Henry Brooke| T: D McCain Jnr| OR:  123| C| D
66/1
Showed some reasonable form over fences in the early part of last season before running some tame races in that sphere. Back over hurdles after a wind op last time he now dons a tongue-tie for the first-time; failed to fire, best watched for now.

Just the one win to show for his hurdling exploits when with Paul Nicholls over a sharp 2m at Wincanton (tried over further afterwards). Now makes his stable debut (13lb above last wining mark); jumped poorly when last seen.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-7| J: Thomas Dowson| T: P A Kirby| OR:  120

Formerly with Tom Lacey (sold to this yard for £28,000); bounced back to form on his last two starts for that yard winning in March at Ascot (not having to improve to do so). Yet to run off a mark this high in handicaps; looks a chaser in the making.
7
Horse silk
Wishfull Dreamingt187
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-7| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR:  120| C| D
20/1
Consistent sort who showed good form over hurdles/fences in the early part of this year (won three chases). Ought to be able to cope off this mark back over timber but is a fragile sort and may need this race (yard's runners often do off a break).
8
Horse silk
Attention Seakert7(ex 7)
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-6| J: Lee Cosgrove(10)| T: T D Easterby| OR:  112| C
11/4
In reasonable form on the Flat this year without winning; looked to have lost her way over hurdles until bouncing back over 2m4f here last time. Patient tactics appeared to suit on that occasion; has to cope with shorter trip/7lb penalty.
9
Horse silk
For Threeh156
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: B S Hughes| T: J Ewart| OR:  117
8/1
Landed back-to-back Hexham 2m hurdles in May, the first a novice, then a handicap on debut in that sphere (didn't have to improve much either occasion). Up 5lb and back from a break, more to do but heading in the right direction.

Fisher Greent161
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-3| J: Ross Chapman| T: M A Barnes| OR:  116
25/1
Already clocked up three wins over hurdles scoring in handicap company when last seen at Perth in May off a 2lb lower mark in an uncompetitive affair. Back from a break this will be tougher; may not want a test as stiff as this; more needed.

Remember The Days48
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: Joe Colliver| T: Jedd O'Keeffe| OR:  115| D
9/1
Not seen over hurdles for a while he's been ticking over on the Flat this year running with credit without winning. Won at Doncaster over hurdles last December (5lb lower mark); looks the sort to improve in this sphere; of interest back over timber.
12
Horse silk
Iolani7(ex 7)
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-2| J: Danny McMenamin(5)| T: Mrs Dianne Sayer| OR:  108| C| D
11/2
A winner over 2m4f here last week taking advantage of a reduced mark and confirming the signs of life he'd shown on his previous start. Closed down late on he may appreciate being back at this trip; 7lb penalty but still one to make an impact.
13
Horse silk
Minella Fiveo173
Age: 11|  Weight: 10-13| J: Bailey Sagar(10)| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR:  112| D
66/1
Looks vulnerable to some of the younger types here with his yard looking to be in a quiet spell at the moment. Found a good run of form coming to a halt when last seen; still above last winning mark, others look to have greater opportunity.
14
Horse silk
Mint Goldh,t28
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-13| J: S Mulqueen(3)| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR:  112| CD
7/1
Won over this trip on the inner hurdles track last February causing a 50-1 shock (beat For Three); showed a good attitude. Slightly below that performance level since in handicaps (looked a hard ride on handicap debut); will find this a stiffer test.

Horse silk
Oscar Wilde210
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Danny Cook| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR:  111| BF
8/1
One of two from this yard with most of their runners needing the outing; made the frame in four of his five maiden/novice hurdle starts. Makes his handicap debut but this trip looks on the sharp side; of more interest further down the line.

Horse silk
Native Fighter83
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-11| J: Charlotte Jones(7)| T: James Moffatt| OR:  110| BF| D
6/1
Produced improved showing to win at Market Rasen in the summer (got up late on); given too much to do when attempting to follow up over same C&D. Respectable outing on the Flat last time; claims for his new yard back over hurdles off a decent mark.

Forecasts

Attention Seaker (11/4), Iolani (11/2), Native Fighter (6/1), Mint Gold (7/1), For Three (8/1), Oscar Wilde (8/1), Remember The Days (9/1), Wishfull Dreaming (20/1), Fisher Green (25/1), En Meme Temps (33/1), Ted Veale (33/1), Choix Des Armes (50/1), Ardera Cross (50/1), Minella Fiveo (66/1), Raise A Spark (66/1), Un Comedien (100/1)

Verdict

Six of these come here off the back of a win although four of those trying to do have an absence to overcome which makes the winners at last week’s meeting Iolani and Attention Seaker of more interest. That pair took the opposing divisions of the 2m4f handicap with the latter doing so in slightly better style and time; she’s preferred out of that duo to follow up. Of the other last time out winners En Meme Temps looks to have plenty to offer while For Three can’t be written off in his hat-trick bid. REMEMBER THE DAYS is worth taking a chance with though given he arrives here fit and looking as though he has improvement to come in this sphere along with Native Fighter for his new yard.

  3. Native Fighter
