Won 3-29 for Mick Channon and has been a decent sprinter in his time. Makes debut for new yard off career low mark so not out of it despite the steadier of top weight.

9lb lower than last win which came at Ripon 13 months ago, but showed signs of a revival when staying on fourth at Newcastle last time. Same jockey retains the ride and wouldn't surprise to see him go close.

Won over C&D in August of 2018 off 10lb lower mark and has hit the target on third a few times since then. Run with credit without troubling judge last two starts but a little more needed to score.

Three-time C&D winner and was good second on last visit here in January off 2lb higher mark. Solid third at Sandown latest and looks well worth considering back at his happy hunting ground.

All three wins have come on turf but was beaten just two lengths on only previous AW outing so is open to improvement. Seemed not to stay 6f at Pontefract last time so no surprise to see her back to minimum trip.

Fair form last year for Richard Fahey for whom she landed a 5f novice event at Ripon. Absent eight mnonths prior to finishing long last on handicap bow in June and now makes debut for new connections. and has a bit to prove.

Speedy filly who scored over C&D last term and has also won at Lingfield. Not in best of form on turf this summer but not disgraced on first run back here over 6f at the weekend. Turns out again quickly but better chance at this trip.

Bath specialist but has won over C&D as well. Stayed on to be one length third here last time and should again be on the premises if things drop his way.

Won here over 5f and 6f in the past and never got into it last time after being slow to break. Went close here in July off 1lb lower mark so may again be in the shake-up if jumping off on terms.

Has gone very close here on each of her last two starts being caught near finish both times. 1lb higher than latest effort but has a shout if young rider can save just a little bit more for the last 100 yards.

Powerful Dreamp9(ex 5)
Age: 6|  Weight: 9-0| J: David Probert| T: R Harris| OR:  68| CD
16/1
10-times winner who has hit form with a vengeance of late winning last two, including over C&D latest. 5lb penalty makes life much harder but will make a bold bid for the hat-trick.

Forecasts

Joegogo (3/1), Fizzy Feet (5/1), Secretfact (5/1), Canford Bay (11/2), Show Me The Bubbly (7/1), Helvetian (12/1), Royal Brave (12/1), Enchanted Linda (12/1), Powerful Dream (16/1), Laubali (25/1), Golden Circle (33/1)

Verdict

A decent handicap with just about all the runners having some sort of a chance. Powerful Dream will be popular as she bids for the hat-trick but marginal preference is for FIZZY FEET who blew the cobwebs away here at the weekend and can make a bold bid turned out again quickly. Joegogo is a danger as he loves it round here, while Show Me The Bubbly, Royal Brave, Secretfact and Laubali are others who may not be at all far away.
  1. Fizzy Feet
  2. Joegogo
  3. Show Me The Bubbly
