Dual-winner for Tim Easterby but 0-8 for this yard and given she is only rated 71 and a doubtful stayer over 1m who prefers fast ground she is easy to rule out here.

Solid and consistent sort who has held her form well in a number of starts over the summer. Up against it here given her mark of 82 and she is unplaced in four previous goes at this level.

Listed winner has been third and fourth in Group Three's in a summer where she was set some stiff tasks. Good form over 1m1f and 1m2f so the 1m here shouldn't cause any issues and leading claims as long as it doesn't come up bottomless.

1-23 career record owes much to the stiff tasks she's been set along the way. Has placed at Listed level but just once in 11 times she's made the frame at Pattern level so others are again preferred.

Curragh maiden winner ran well in two Listed races this summer before finding Group Three level after a break too tough an ask. Stable second string but has place potential.

Gowran maiden winner yet to add to that although did manage a rather remote fourth in a Listed race in the summer. More required in this field however and career-best needed to make the frame.

Sister to Winter disappointed twice since finishing fourth in a Gowran Listed race on reappearance. Drop back to 1m may help and suspect she still has untapped potential; respected.

Listed winning two-year-old disappointed last time out but her spring form such as seventh in the 1000 Guineas and second in the Fred Darling reads really well. Has ideal conditions for first time all season; take advantage.

Off the mark at the fifth time of asking latest in a Curragh maiden and was very impressive. That was a clear step forward but she must improve plenty more here.

Verdict

Although her three-year-old season has been frustrating this represents an excellent chance for ICONIC CHOICE as she looks likely to finally have ideal conditions in 1m and soft ground. Her form in the spring is rock-solid at this level so she is fancied to open her 2019 account. Top-rated Trethias has been consistent at Listed and Group Three level and looks a leading contender here. Frosty could well have more to give.
