Off the mark for connections at the fourth time of asking when landing a 6f Curragh in August. Well held since here and at York however although the last race was a pretty warm one.
Ran well in his first three races so no major shock when he landed a 6f Curragh maiden on heavy ground last time beating Johan Zoffani who goes in the opener today. Looks a leading contender here with handicap mark quite reasonable.
Second on debut at Fairyhouse (5½f) before landing a 21-runner Navan maiden last time. Clearly a colt with plenty of ability and could easily have been underestimated by the handicapper.
5½f Sligo maiden winner has since placed in three handicaps. Gets another 1lb back after his third at Fairyhouse last time out so again has each-way possibilities.
Thrice-raced son of Slade Power made the frame in all three maidens on varying ground conditions. Looks fairly treated and can't be ruled out on handicap debut.
Off the mark at the sixth time of asking latest when winning a 5f course nursery by ½L. Upped 4lb for that he must improve again in deeper looking race.
Has continued in consistent form since winning a Sligo 5f handicap off a 7lb lower mark in August. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Champers Elysees (15/8), Flaming Moon (7/2), Mount Fuji (4/1), My Friend Stan (9/2), For The Trees (11/2), Not Now Zeb (8/1), Koolasice (8/1), In From The Cold (12/1), Latin Five (16/1)
A typically difficult nursery but the one who could have most improvement under his belt is FLAMING MOON having only raced twice. He has shown very smart form in the two starts. Also high on the wish list is Champers Elysees who is the preferred of the Murtagh trained duo, he won well last time out. A significant class drop and first-time blinkers could see Mount Fuji spring back to life.
- Flaming Moon
- Champers Elysees
- Mount Fuji
